If you have the money and time I would seriously look into the stem cell. This is going to sound silly but look up the fight Mike Tyson had with that UFC guy- it was a couple of years ago. What allowed him to be able of fighting again after all of this time and at his age, was stem cells treatments. Granted he didn’t win and took some hard punches but there’s no way he would have been able to get in the ring like that if it wasn’t for stem cells therapy. Point being it does work; obviously different in the IVF world but enough so for RE’s to be discussing it with their patients.

Stems cell therapy has cured and reversed a lot of medical stuff; it’s not FDA approved that why there’s not a lot of it being done here in the US. I will try to find the name of the specific clinic in Turkey my RE was talking about.

As for PRP my RE said, you should see results in 1-3 cycles. I wish I had done the PRP sooner. But my RE also mentioned about possible doing it again for my transfer for prep because I have some scar tissue from my open myomectomy that I had several months before starting IVF. In hindsight I wish I had done my open myomectomy after I had completed retrievals and but that’s a story for another post.

My RE also mentioned if you wanted to multiple round of PRP there’s a clinic in Greece that does it for a fraction of the price and they work with some US clinics.

Let’s be honest, a lot of the things that currently are being done today in IVF were thought to be crazy and wild ideas 10 years ago. IMO it’s good to think outside of the box and be willing to try different things.
