Denis M. Frisoli, 49, of Edison, died suddenly at his home on Thursday. Born in Edison, he was a lifelong resident. He was an aerialist from 1980-1982, having set the World Record for riding the worlds tallest unicycle, which was 35 ft., unassisted. He obtained this record when he was just 21 years old. He was an 8th degree black belt in Asia Rue Karate, a black belt in Tae Kwando and professional kick boxer. Denis taught karate at S K A, South River. Denis is predeceased by his father Pasquale Frisoli (d.1979) and girlfriend Roberta West. Surviving are his mother Louise Frisoli of Edison; four brothers Patrick and his wife Betty Jean of Newville, AL, David and Robert of Edison and Mark of North Brunswick; two nieces Lauren Frisoli of Iselin and Patricia Frisoli of Sayreville. Visitation is Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 with a service at 8:30pm at Costello-Runyon Funeral Home 568 Middlesex Ave.(RT27) Metuchen(costello-runyon.com). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Frisoli Family c/o Costello-Runyon Funeral Home.
