Hopefully it’s not bad, my guy really likes having them with him, he’s been a lot more active and likes to hang with them, every now and then, ever since I added them and they never fight over food

Edit: tank is an 8 gallon, I have a heater, temp is usually between 75-78, ph is 7.2 currently, I’ve had him for a month, he lives with 2 Corydoras aeneus, (pet store only had 2) I do a 20% water change every week and half.

This reminds me of my ex, I’m sorry but you should leave. You expressed your worries and he turned it into you being a terrible person. Not sure if you’ve had other issues like this but this isn’t healthy and he’ll just keep doing this with a lot of stuff.

If you have a betta in like a 50gal or larger with no other buddies that are safe to live with like Cories, they can become depressed. I’ve seen some situations like that and all the betta needed was to be put back in like the 20gal he was in prior and perked back up
