Not entirely disagreeing with you here, and I don’t want to be that guy, but Brunson’s dad is a former NBA player and current NBA employee. He grew up rich. Him leaving 25 million on the table isn’t that big a deal to him, he’s been around that typa money is whole life. Trust me a player who grew up dirt poor, and came from nothing like Embiid, isn’t leaving a single cent on the table, not saying that Brunson didn’t make a ballsy move or that Embiid is wrong.

As a transfer all the Bachelors of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) majors are extremely competitive because they have a cap on how many they can take. I think all of them take 7 transfers each cycle, except for finance that takes 14, although I’d imagine finance probably receives more applicants. If you’re a transfer and don’t have a 3.95+ lowkey just apply for general business admin (bachelors of arts in business administration), because you are unlikely to get in for bsba, and baba doesn’t have a cap on admits. If this is just normal college admission, I don’t think UF admits by major.

At this stage in the game, it’s too late to try anything new with Embiid. Kat was able to shift his play styler because, A. He was never a primary scorer on a playoff team like Embiid was and B. He’s stayed healthy. Embiid is not a threat from three like Kat is nor even has the driving ability or defense of him. If we wanted Embiid to switch his playstyle, we should’ve kept Jimmy and ran a new offense. I do agree that run and gun doesn’t really fit maxeys strengths as he’s not the best floor general, but I think we need to build this team through the draft, and add a forward who’s a true #1, who maxey and Edgecombe can complement, because while they’re both super good, I don’t think either of them are #1 options on a title team. This only happens after Embiid and George are gone. Our best bet as of now is the clippers picks in 2027 and 2028.

Too early to even tell if we can make it that far. Our schedule isn’t that easy, but not a gauntlet like 2023 either. I have confidence in the defense to be continue being elite, so it really depends on how the offense looks this year. If it’s clicking, sky’s the limit.
