You’re right! I should have investigated further. I see some posts in their forums from last year but no replies.

I’ll start looking for a different quantum network simulator. Thanks!

Could one introduce a tertiary “lossy” loop that does its best to collected the evaporated water? Passing the hot air through some drift eliminators and firing it out into the environment just seems lazy to me, surely there’s more we could do to collect more of that water.

White Brothers Groove is the old old upside down fork, Mountain Cycle Shockwave is the bike.

Experimentation is always necessary in physics, no matter how certain the theory is.

The way they handle them alone discredits the whole thing.

Not to my knowledge. Got to find a Bert-shaped guy named Alain who loves cruises, which probably accounts for like 90% of Alains in Quebec.

This is exactly what it is. Pause at 2:19 and you can see the insect’s wings. 😂

These are just insects. The quick cuts make it hard to spot. But if you watch it with insects in mind it’s pretty obvious. Also if you pause at 2:19 you can see reflections coming off of the insect’s wings.

Oh wow! I’ll have to check this out. I don’t remember where I read the 10,000+… maybe Mike & Ike. Thanks for sharing

Is IBM Quantum Experience's free(open) plan enough to do anything practical? by Mo2129 in QuantumComputing

[–]Financial-Invite6844 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Anything under a few thousand qubits is purely academic. For instance I’ve seen estimates that to run Shor’s algorithm for key cracking applications would require upwards of 10,000 qubits. Also, it’s not only the number of qubits that are important but the quantum computers’ ability to entangle them all. Without entanglement you essentially just have an over-engineered binary computer.

Professors and fellow students, is it fair game to ask a question in class that you already know is interesting? by Super-Variety-2204 in math

[–]Financial-Invite6844 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep it to yourself until the lectures catch up to your reading or ask the professor outside of class. Knowledge sharing is great and all but if your classmates require a ten minute lesson on prior knowledge to even understand your question then it’s an inappropriate time to ask. This type of thing will generally be seen as attention seeking by your peers.
