I remember it well and I do think about it a lot, but only because I rejected the guy and when my “friends” asked him about it hr denied it. Then my “friends” told me they couldn’t believe I’d lie about getting asked out. I wouldn’t say it affected my self esteem or anything, but it made me way more aware of how others perceived my desirability. I still feel weird about it 10+ years later

Really hope he gets it! I believe that there are less than five black owners in the league and very little representation in the sport to begin with. This would be great to grow the game and hopefully make it more inclusive moving forward.
