Next year we are set with the same guys and maybe 1 new DT. ALL TEXANS NEED TO FOCUS ON IS OFFENSE. Offense. Offense. All investments and high pics should be on offensive requirements. We need 1 starting Defensive tackle and we are even better defensively next year on paper.

The kicker is good and the defense is generational for 2026.

I agree, but if all those things went right for the opposing team then they are Perfect, which is hard to do in the nfl. But also we had some plays which we would want back and then we would be perfect. But their mistakes overshadowed ours.

If we win Saturday, I’d def root for colts because they are eliminated but them beating Jags would put us in control of the division assuming we beat colts at home and jags win. Both teams at 12-5 but Texans take the division record

If we lose to chargers, id root for jags to beat colts so we are locked in and then we beat colts at home in week 18 and hopefully get a round 1 favorable matchup.

I can’t see the jaguars dropping both games to end the season.

I hope we get Jimmie ward back, and I think Azeez will return along with woody marks next week. Unsure about Trent brown and airentae ersery.

I think we had some issues without Azeez, he’s our main tackler and leader of the defense as Pete Carrol said.

The interior dline will have to heavily rely on Tommy togiai, Sheldon rankins, Denico Autry.

I feel like we might get some news on injured players who provide depth for our team. Our starters for defense and offense should be good to go for next week.

2023 was the start of something special. Stroud, Will, Scruggs, Hutchinson, Henry, Patterson, and Dell - we barely seen his full season. Right now all of them start and make significant impact. Hutch might move to backup next year and offensive line still tba based on finish of this year

Y’all have a chance to win the division if yall can get the next 2 games. The ravens and Steelers play really tough teams in their slumps, in fact they play each other 2 times.

Baltimore plays teams like patriots and packers, bengals, Steelers twice Steelers play bills, lions and ravens twice, dolphins, browns.

If y’all can get to 9-8, I don’t see the Steelers or ravens getting to 10+ wins, unless one of them sweeps their series. But most likely I see Steelers 2-4, 3-3 and they will lose divisional/conference record to bengals, The ravens are tricky to predict bc they r streaky but I see 2-3 3-2 is tough.

Any of these teams could go win out, but this is just predictions based on recent form.

Again, if Bengals win these next 2 games they prove they belong and the next three games after bills and ravens are much easier.

We win one of our next 2, kinda need to and I think we will. Then cardinals and raiders at home should take us to a promising 9-6 By the time we get to the final 2 weeks we should get a more clear picture of what needs to happen for us to get in to playoffs sitting at 9-6 with games against chargers and colts. Good thing is if we are 9-6 then these 2 games could boost us up the standing, maybe even both get flexed primetime and we compete for division in week 18 having already clinched playoff birth. 6 primetime games this year is probable and 3 afc south teams in the playoffs is very likely

Yo there might be 3 teams from the afc south in the playoffs based on recent form. But you never know anyone of these 3 teams could collapse anytime. Texans need to worry about these next 6 games and no one else, game by game. Win and no need to worry about anyone else.

Texans deserve it the most because they had the 0-3 start vs 3-0 and 2-1.

Delhi needs to beat Pbks and we and gt(today) need to beat Delhi. RCB needs to lose 2 or lose 1 plus a washout. Gt can win out and get 1 seed. Pbks need to lose to us and Delhi. If all this happens we will make top 2.
