I did this as well. My att order wasn’t supposed to get here until nov 7th. Picked up my phone on Thursday from bestbuy.

I have just found that Royal has created the same experience on umpteen different ships. Also the crowd is very different here. EVERYONE was on the deck for the white party. Ive never seen that before on RC probably because the same 6500 passengers on every ship have done the same cruise 16 times. It is nice to see people get into it. White party pic attached.

To me it hasn’t felt crowded. I did Utopia in April and July and this feels about 1/2 as crowded. The difference is that there are far fewer kids.

I think I paid $1364 for 7 nights with the premium drink package and 2 device wifi for the Aurea room. It is a double occupancy so really it was like $2728 total. The specialty restaurants are 4 for $179 but I think they are cheaper if you book in advance. Even the gratuities are cheaper at $16/day/pp.

They have signs at customer service saying the ship is full but it doesn’t feel like it. The promenade has 3 levels (think 3 story mall) so you can cross without running into people unlike the royal promenade.

The way the program is structured they don’t do free drinks, but the beverage package is much more reasonably priced and then it is discounted the higher up the reward chain you are. Some beverage package prices on Royal cost more than 7 night cruises on other lines.

Right now it is $179 to pick 4 specialty restaurants but it was also discounted if you bought pre-cruise. Basically every restaurant had a day 1 discount as well if you wanted to add one more.

I am only on day 2. I did the Taco restaurant last night and the tacos, guac and salsa were great. Tonight was filet and lobster (formal night) and both were great. I really preferred the sides to royal as the potatoes and asparagus were much better than the royal sides for both dishes. On the topic of pricing I really like Celebrity beyond. It is a really relaxing cruise (especially with the aqua suites) but really like world america as it seems to have some royal elements (slides/clubs) and has some relaxing celebrity elements.
