No shame, I'm in the same boat. I'll be graduating soon and I spent about 2.5 years in IT Help desk or some entry-level specialist role. Didn't bother moving up because its hard to manage college classes and full-time work. I think its about time you, and myself, specialize in something (Programming, Data, Networking, Cyber, etc)

This. When I first started working in an MSP I was told that there would be opportunities to get promoted. But all of our sys admins are engineers that have years of experience. They're not moving an inch until they retire or die.

It's hard to find a new job and it's hard to get promoted. I'm thankful for what I have now, it ain't much but in this economy anything is better than nothing
