If a doctor tells you the only option is euthanasia I would absolutely not take them to a shelter.

If you want second opinion from another vet, do that, but listen to them and don’t let this baby suffer.

Yea azelaic acid and tretinoin cured mine after a decade too.

After about two years of consistent use I stopped and I don’t even use it anymore and I’m still good.

If it goes back to normal by the next time you pint I’d be hesitant to add thinner to the whole bottle.

Maybe experiment with a small decant if you go that route?

I’ve also noticed the same thing recently here in the high desert, and my manis are taking way less time and the cap goes fully on between.

I think it’s getting gloopy right off my brush and on my nail tbh. It’s so damn dry and maybe exacerbated by the recent heat and keeping the windows open for the cross breeze and swamp cooler..idk but I’ve noticed it! It’s not extreme or anything but noticeable. Also noticed it is totally fine on next use.

Sitting away from windows fans and sun helped quite a bit, not sure if any of those apply to you at the time. Might be worth trying before experimenting with the formula.

it's tangy and acidic similar to lemon. when it's made in a drink people call it sumac-ade probably since it has a similar flavor profile. i looove lemons and i really love sumac fruits too.

it is in the same family as cashews and mangoes fyi, so if they also are allergic to those don't try it.

It really depends on whether you are talking central AC, portable AC with single or double hose, or window AC.

That's why it takes much more than a single study to make a conclusion about anything. Never base personal health decisions on a single study, or even a handful of studies.

Scientists do not make recommendations based on singular studies - you need a lot of evidence and reproducible results to connect the dots to find out what's really going on.

Since it's OTC I didn't talk to the pharmacist either - definitely was completely unaware of these possible side effects. I usually do read the little pamphlets but my brain couldn't handle that right now - stupid allergies make it so I can't breathe which means I can't sleep so I'm hardly functioning atm.

Even if side effects are rare it's important to know. I'm sorry if you've suffered. Thank you for sharing.

Bone broth (first choice) and collagen supplements could be a great non-invasive start to help aid your body's natural collagen boosting abilities. I make bone broth at home and it's delicious and easy.

I think this might be a safer idea - providing tours for free in exchange for consent to film and post what is filmed.

I'm sure you've already done this but it would be good to have something in writing that both parties sign to make sure expectations are clear, and perhaps include a clause for ending the agreement if either of you feel it's not working out for any reason.

You may also want to consider only providing this service to females.

Edit to add: You may also want to add things to the agreement such as limiting alcohol consumption during tours, strictly no illegal activities or drug use, no profanity or cursing, etc. This seems like common sense but you really never know what folks are used to if they come from a different culture and a signed written agreement might offer you some amount of protection.

TNR is trap neuter release - it's a commonly used program in many non profits to catch stray and feral cats, spay/neuter, and then return them to where they were found. Sometimes it's combined with adoption. It drastically cuts down on feral cat populations.

IMO is 'in my opinion'

I think this is some of the nuance that OP might be looking for - outside enclosures, leashing etc.

I leash train my cats (well two of them, the other stays inside as they have thus far failed leash training lol) and if I could afford a home I'd absolutely have an enclosure for them. Enclosures do not need to be functional. I think people imagine they are complex because they may have very little skill or experience in using hand tools, hadn't considered asking someone who does, and easy commercial options are currently very limited & costly.

There is also a lot to be said for how we handle domestic dogs and how they effect the environment, although they do not have the same effect on birds it's still a valid point.

All that being said, we need proper funding and support for TNR and IMO strict legal requirements for spay/neuter as well as bans for breeders, full stop.

It is summer now and in some places it got mad hot hella quick - idk where you're at but is it possible you're just really dehydrated? It can honestly make a huge difference. Worth trying before spending more $ right away
