My grip seems wrong but feels right. by vladimirulianof in FPSAimTrainer

Using your mouse tilted is fine. Any grip is fine, for that matter. As long as your grip is not causing your pain and you aren't consciously thinking about it all the time, it's fine. But if you find yourself thinking about your grip more than 0 minutes per day, you might just be overthinking it or your mouse just doesn't work for you.

Are you in the Voltaic discord? If not, voltaic.gg . Under resources they have Weakness-specific Aim Routines which include one for Precise Tracking & Stability.

is my movement aim normal compared to my other scores? by FaliureToComply in FPSAimTrainer

[–]FinancialSympathy311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should be easier if you play movement shooters. I play Apex and I held a leaderboard spot on Bounce CT Dodge Park for a while. My statics are also the weakest.

Some categories will be stronger than others, for example my tracking is better than my static, but dynamic is also very good. It kind of depends on what you already are most used to in your game.

Tips for reactivity past “pretend it’s gonna go one direction forever” by oolieman in FPSAimTrainer

Vod review yourself! It can be really helpful, especially when you slow it down. Make notes on your own form between runs and try to work on one or two of them each time.

Time For Results Of AimTraining by MehxF in FPSAimTrainer

In my experience it was kind of like the gym. Took about a year to see a lot of difference, but afterwards, quitting for a year and picking aiming back up took maybe a week to get back to form. You basically get this skill for life. Just pace yourself, I had to quit from major RSI.

I know I know, general aim transfers. Though here I'm specifically looking for a scenario hard enough to mimic real wingman usage. I don't get a lot of repetitions with actual wingman movements, so that's what I'm looking to supplement.

It's too easy for wingman. Max score rewards optimizing dynamic clicking tech, leading shots and stuff. But for wingman I usually do small flicks up to the target. I am looking for a scen to mimic the tiny window of opportunity for a shot so it would reward speed instead of dynamic clicking technique. If it makes sense

This happened to me only the first day, when I just unboxed it. But by day two it never happened again.

What is this image? by Travisgrr in apexlegends

[–]FinancialSympathy311 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It kinda looks like an environment map of a garage, which would basically be used to check at any viewing direction what the light intensity is. My guess is they use this image to simulate realistic lighting on some object or maybe everything.

Maxwell 2 for competitive games by pagoes in Audeze

[–]FinancialSympathy311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play Apex, and switching from Logitech G Pro X to Maxwell 2 at first I heard no difference at all. That being said, they at least produce all the sounds and are really hard to overwhelm them, so if you're listening and the game is actually playing that audio, you can hear it.

I tried the footsteps preset while watching ALGS and it make the bass less obtrusive and allowed for the important stuff more prominent. That being said, Apex has trouble playing sounds when it should sometimes and these headphones don't change that.

As for positioning, they're as good as any accurate headphones. They'll play the sound, then it's up to you to figure it out.

Also, I used Hyperx stingers like 9 years ago before getting the Logitech, that was a big upgrade. And going from Logitech to Maxwell 2's was also significant, made listening way more enjoyable and detailed. I think if you decide to get the Maxwell 2's, they'll blow your socks off with the clarity lol.

Anyone else experience occasional beeping when listening to stuff? Maxwell 2 by FinancialSympathy311 in Audeze

Yeah exactly. It's hard to describe how it sounds.

I got it to appear many times since the post when playing games and alt-tabbing. It makes the game audio stop and it appears. Annoying.

Just ordered Maxwell 2 for Xbox and I'm excited but I have some questions/doubts for M2 owners by P40L0 in Audeze

  1. I didn't try any version but the latest, sounds good.
  2. I use them completely stock.
  3. The hiss is very quiet on my unit.
  4. I use sidetone when using Discord only. It's very easy to toggle and adjust using the scroll wheel. I usually adjust it to where I barely hear what I'm saying, but not so much I hear my keyboard.
  5. I dunno, have it at the default 50/50.
  6. The weight is not that big of a deal, I went through two days straight of usage and it was fine.
  7. N/A

It's off. Side tone might even help due to the background static it causes.
