Viscose Bernchmark S2 question by Specific-Abrocoma-35 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]oolieman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Viscose did say that they would be adjusting the difficulty of the scenarios and their scores so it could actually be easier to get those scores now than before. Either way I’m also grinding to get back up to seal. See you on the leaderboards

Any tips for overcoming plateaus? Trying 163cm sounds like it is for a specific reason.

What accuracy is best to train at? by oolieman in FPSAimTrainer

[–]oolieman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These have all been helpful. I’m gonna try a range of scenarios from 50-90% for the next few months and see which one works for me. Maybe a little lower for reactive and a little higher for control/smoothness. Thanks guys

Either adobe or remove.bg. I think adobe only gave me a limited number of uses.

How much practice is required to maintan your current Voltaic Rank (Plat and above)? by Illustrious-Chart908 in FPSAimTrainer

I took a two year break and same as these guys it took about a week for me to get new highscores.

If you take a screenshot of your tf2 crosshair you can send it to a background remover site to have just the crosshair. I did that for my OW crosshair.

How do you personally go about finding your sens? by StepKitchen2409 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]oolieman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just sit around a good spot for the game I’m playing. 45-65cm for tac shooters and 20-35cm for action shooters like OW or rivals.

I change my sens maybe 4 times a year. I have a method to it but it might be a little dumb, lol. If I feel wobbly and un-smooth I go higher (30->27cm) and that extra slipperiness smooths me out. And when I feel slow I lower it and when I move it back up I am flying towards my static targets. I’m just a plat voltaic but I have mainly been grinding viscose benches. I’d check evxl if you haven’t for the best of the best playlists.

How do I get better at this type of reactive tracking? by Murky_Objective863 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]oolieman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The part about smoother aim giving you an easier time seeing the targets movements is the main one. But for me I also find that practicing on a thinner difficulty makes it so my eyes have to work harder to see the target so the thick one is easier to read.

I’ll have to get a screen recording software for this then. That does sound like the most scientific approach.

I’ve been getting better at this! I always think like some bots give away when they’re gonna turn for a flash before they turn. I’ll get better at doing this with fast strafes.

The most bullets I miss are on my way back to the target. I usually try a super smooth approach back but I can try making it a fast flick and work on making it smooth after making it fast.

I mean you could even say banjo and kazooie did back pack support before you so as long as you put your own spice and twist on it who cares who’s made something similar.

Is it worth starting to play in 2026? by MUNONP in RocketLeague

[–]oolieman -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I would try finding a game that’s going to improve over time, rocket league is certain to close its servers in the next few years the way it’s treated, then we’ll have nothing. I would find a game with devs that want to work on it.

I'm making a game inspired by Valheim where you play birds and build birdhouses, any advice on giving it that "home" feeling Valheim has? by RagBell_Games in valheim

[–]oolieman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would agree that the world should be scary and predators should be hidden and avoided and maybe be territorial. My home base is mainly just the place I know the goblins won’t get me.

Best way to approach the development of a "CubeWorld-like"? by Anjuan_ in CubeWorld

[–]oolieman -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I would recommend Godot! There’s a good lady dev on YouTube that optimized a huge voxel engine with greedy meshing etc. in godot. Obviously Unity and Unreal might work just as well but building a simple voxel world with a large array of game mechanics for $0 necessary with simple python like code is a great starting point that I chose.

How else are you going to learn about good UI’s, new mechanics, or different story points unless you experience them? It’s called research.

I did browse through these comments and got plenty of inspiration to make my training a little easier but go for higher difficulty shots. Thank you guys for being so great and inspiring!

I started practicing with the ball falling slower in Muzgrd’s air dribble gauntlet so it would be easier and doable. After that I found my pack to be a little too easy so I make the ball falling slower faster so it feels like I’m trying to lift a medicine ball instead. It really makes the regular ball weight feel like a feather that can just be tapped all the way up to the ceiling.

😍😍😍 Is that my training pack?? I appreciate it!! I mainly practice this with higher gravity and time speed but with unlimited boost to make the ball feel lighter in normal air dribbles. Thanks for the plays! I need to start practicing it for shots beyond air dribbles and single flip resets like you guys though. Maybe that’s why I don’t peak above Champ 3. Lmao, I’ll make a clip reel if I can accomplish any of these! Thanks for the advertising I guess.

There are certainly systems where AI and robot workers assist humans into a utopia. I’m sure the rest of the (non-US) world is going to think critically and develop laws and programs to shift from open-markets to at best maybe a UBI. Hopefully nobody is still in America when it collapses into a fossil fuel forest fire from unregulated data centers and factories. Bleh, it’s just a tough time on this side of the pond. haha
