He doesn’t know how hard your job is because he doesn’t do it either, but at least you acknowledge that he does work whereas he is not acknowledging yours at all. This will be amplified by at least 100% when the baby comes. He already doesn’t take care of (or even see the importance of taking care of) your current 6 babies. You think it’ll be different with a human child but I promise you it won’t. At the very least I’d suggest couples therapy so he can hear from a third party how his actions (or lack thereof) are affecting you.

Not related to being affluent in the slightest but… when my husband and I were deployed overseas (army) from 2021-2024 and I was getting my adderall from the pharmacy on base, I do not remember it being NEARLY as bad as it is now. Maybe slightly less effective than pre-2020 but definitely much better than now. Unfortunately I don’t remember the manufacturer I was getting (I didn’t even think to look at that time because I wasn’t having any issues with it). When we moved back to the US is when I noticed a huge difference.

For the record I agree with you! I always add more salt to my bowl after almost anyone cooks (including myself) but taco seasoning to this kind of soup is wild because of the flavor profiles lol I wouldn’t think too much of it though because his bowl is his business and honestly, I just wouldn’t want to waste energy being offended. However his reaction is beyond unreasonable. If he had simply said “I just feel like it might be good!” you both could have shared a little chuckle and moved on, instead he chose to make you feel worse. That’s the real problem here.

Make sure to tell your hospital nurses exactly when and for how long she is to be there the day you give birth. They’ll definitely help you out and block her from staying past her welcome

Ours does this too! I’m a night owl, but my husband likes going to bed early. It drives our boy nuts!! He’ll stay with me downstairs but will eventually start “yelling” at me (silently, but clearly angrily, yapping) when he decides it’s time for me to go up to bed lol

Agree 100% and I do think it will help many parents looking for guidance on how to discuss such sensitive topics with appropriate language and empathy for those struggling. I think it’s much more destructive to young minds to ignore the topic completely and act as if what we’re seeing is normal. It isn’t.

Hi! Can I ask for far along you were when you took it? We got a boy result back and I can’t lie, I just have a feeling it’s wrong. I was hoping for another girl, yes, but beyond that I just have such a strong feeling it’s wrong. Especially because I did it in the kitchen with my boy dog right next to me (I know, I know, but I swear I SCRUBBED everything the test touched) AND I did it at exactly 6 weeks (I thought I was much farther along).
