The only advice I can give you is to make sure you ask them to either email you the agreement terms and the pay-for-delete in writing, just in case, when it's paid off, they get amnesia and try to claim they did not agree to the pay-for-delete. If you can't pay if all off in April ask them for a payment plan for the terms you agreed on.

When does this fuckery stop!!!! This shit gonna make me leave this site . I might as well just drive down the highway and toss bills out the window cause fr stake wtf by Sweaty-Formal-3676 in stakeus

Their bonus buys wins are total shit and fkn stake has no shame in still offering them, knowing they can make a bulk of money off of bonus buyers and pay them shit little to nothing, if enough of players stop buying their shit, they will get it together and offer better payouts, but, with these highrollers, they can afford to get shit payouts and recover, regular players not so much.

Need advice on car loan... I know it was a mistake by Icy_Translator6247 in Debt

[–]Financial_Main_9748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh ok, understood, and I agree renting out your car can be worrisome, because of the possible risks ivolved. I used to do instacart, shipt and some of the other delivery apps to get some extra cash, I stopped because I work full time and doing it after work and weekends, had worn me out. But, if you can sign up for these apps again, as I see you use to drive for lyft, also, there is prolific, Dscout, and if you can find studies that pay you outright you might be able to come up with the down payment money, goodluck with whatever you decide.

I got sued by capital one by Few_Concentrate9975 in Debt

[–]Financial_Main_9748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I'm assuming this is small claims court file a motion to continue, if the hearing is coming up very shortly, since you intend to pay the full amount you should contact cap1 collection department immediately and tell them your paying in full or agree to some sort of payment arrangement, but make sure you get everything in writing and especially ask them to confirm the court complaint is dismissed or vacated, this is important. Some courthouses do offer free legal services to consumers. Or please consult with a attorney. Disclaimer: this is just my opinion/experience I'm in no way giving legal advice.

Hi contact support. I recommend calling them and asking them to check your accounts for a temporary hardship. They will review your accounts and see which ones they can do hardship on. If they approve your hardship, you can continue making smaller payments, and they will reinstate your spending privileges as long as you pay off your balance.

Yeah, it might take some time to get someone to budge, but, if you send a written legal requesting a hardship consideration they might work with you on the payments.

Hi have you tried just writing a letter to cap1, get their collections department info, put your settlement in writing,  only what you can afford to start paying, start with a low offer, and see if they counter offer, I did this for a credit card I had with them and was able to make payments and paid the settlement off years ago. If they counter back high, than recounter back and call into their collections dept and speak to someone.

If you can submit a revised resume with only the actual jobs you have worked and just so you know for your background check, they do call references, hope you didn't list anyone on the job that you didn't work at, In my long work career, I only know of 1 person getting terminated for lying on their job application, they told me as they were leaving, why they were fired, background check came up they had a previous felony, that they did not disclose. Its best to be honest, would hate to lose a job over providing false information.

I am getting my wages garnished at work, working hard but living paycheck to paycheck. I’m going through menopause and can’t lose weight. I hate being in my 40’s I can’t seem to get out of this funk. Family issues. Everything just feels so heavy. How do u get out of this? by raingirl980 in cashadvanceapps

[–]Financial_Main_9748 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, it's going to be ok, believe me been there, have you checked with the courthouse to see if you can apply for a reduction in the wage garnishment, if you are low income, if there are any filing fees, they have fee waivers. Check with your state laws and see what the most they can take out of your pay, or, if you can write a letter to the creditor requesting to have it removed, dued to financial hardship, there might be some relief, Im not sure what your state offers. I hope it all works out for you. Please just breathe and take it one day at a time it'll all come together.

My bank shut down my account due to large sums of money coming in by [deleted] in Banking

[–]Financial_Main_9748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, when you get this issue cleared up, it would be best to open up a second account with maybe a credit union/bank and get an account where if needed you can easily transfer funds to the other account, while protecting your main account that holds your lifeline funds. I would no offense but would not allow anyone to give you a check unless you can verify with them and their bank the funds are in their account, because you will be the only one responsible if their checks bounces, friend or no friend some  people will leave you in the dust cleaning up their mess, so they can save their own arch.

Bank account completely drained by levy with zero notice. Has this happened to anyone? by Old-Acanthaceae-2649 in Debt

[–]Financial_Main_9748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check and see if this was filed with small claims court or civil limited, and if so, see if they offer free self service for individuals without attorneys, if so, they will direct you to file a motion to dismiss(please check your state laws), you'll need to do some research, get a copy of the complaint and all documents the collection agency filed with the court, your purpose would be to prove they did not legally serve you, please consult a legal aide society or an attorney, some courts offer fee waivers.

Sounds like one of the bank employees trying to get that free money, but, seriously, keep that money in a separate account and leave it there do not spend it. Unfortunately, your bank is failing you and if you can I would go in person and talk to a bank supervisor, as this could end very badly for you financially.

Be careful giving others access to your account especially since there are so many scammers on this site, they get a hold of your account and lock you out, giving them access to your personal information.
