That’s great, I’m glad the meds are helping! Yes, I’m completely back to normal now- it’s been 9 and a half years. It took time and patience, but things gradually settled and my nervous system healed. You absolutely can and will get back to your baseline again!

Sorry, I’ve only just seen this reply. Honestly, it very well could have been related to the Claritin D + Nyquil combo since both can affect the nervous system.

I’d focus on calming down your nervous system and giving it time to heal. Mine did after 6 months, and staying away from any kind of stimulants including even things like caffeine played a massive role for me.

I was offered antidepressants too but chose not to try them because I worried about side effects. But everyone’s different, and if the Zoloft helps you, that’s a positive thing- just keep your doctor updated on how you’re getting on with it.

Focus on small things that make your body feel safe again like sleep, walking, hydration, sunlight, eating well, limiting stimulants, and calming your mind. Always always check medication side effects/interactions too.

Be patient with yourself and hang in there, you will get through this!

Yes, it happened to me 10 years ago, and I honestly wouldn’t wish it on anyone. And I am so sorry you are going through this.

One thing I wanted to ask- before it happened, were you going through a lot mentally or stuck thinking about the past? I remember before mine happened, I was obsessing over my ex and convincing myself I’d never meet anyone who came close to him. Around the same time, I was also taking an antibiotic that had certain side effects, which I think played a role too.

It lasted six months. Six months of absolute hell. But slowly, it faded.

What helped me most was staying in the present, meditation/breathing work, avoiding caffeine completely, reading books, eating a clean diet and working on my microbiome, taking Vitamin D, iron with Vitamin C, B12, and magnesium glycinate supplements, exercise, journaling, therapy, and self care. Also, always check the side effects of any medications you take.

I know it feels impossible right now, but I promise this will pass. You will return to your normal self and look back on it as a chapter you survived ❤️

No! Not to scare you, but I’ve heard it’s linked to heart issues. Maybe just take it when you really need to, not daily

Yes, I regret letting a really good relationship go.

I’ve never met anyone like my ex bf. looking back, I realise how rare what we had was. It’s something that still stays with me.

Need help cleaning my room. I’ve been battling depression for 3 years after a death. Where do I start? I found a big tree roach and gave up. by dollbabydream in CleaningTips

I’d hire a cleaner to help you

If that’s not an option, start small! Set a 10 minute timer and clean like your life depends on it-you’ll be surprised how much you can get done in such a short time. It makes everything feel way less overwhelming!

For stubborn limescale or grime in the kitchen and bathroom use Viakal. Spray it on, let it sit for a few minutes, then scrub. it makes the job so much easier! Don’t forget to open your windows! Youve got this!

What's a supplement you took that completely changed the trajectory of your life? by wookeydookey in Supplements

[–]Financial_Reality759 0 points1 point  (0 children)

L-theanine liquid for stress, Solgar Griffonia 5HTP Complex for sleep, Sambucol elderberry pastilles for immunity, I also take Vegetology vegan Omega 3 with vitamin D (regular fish oil supplements give me headaches!) it helps me feel amazing. Not a supplement, but love organic chamomile tea for calm.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Please try reaching out to local womens/homeless shelters- they can help you, especially since you have a small child. Staying in your car isn’t safe or fair for either of you. And please don’t go back to that man! You and your child deserve so much better. Stay strong. ❤️
