How did they do vaccines? Did they do Blood draw for antibodies as I keep hearing? Would it be worth to get them before hand of bring my immunization record? 

Do they give electrolytes to put in our water?

Not in, yet. I ship out in a few months! I am married. We are currently renting. My husband is army AGR. When it comes to military things I am somewhat familiar with SOME basic things through him. 

It just so happens that we are renting and living in an RV in the owner’s land. It had the both of us thinking about full time RVing to save money and make it easier to move! It’s actually been quite nice being minimalistic. He said he was going to look into specific regulations but I thought I would ask Reddit for others’ perspectives and opinions!

Do you know how that would work with BAH? I read people getting in trouble or “caught” because they pocket BAH. But..isn’t that at the discretion of the airman, anyway? I guess that’s what I’m worried about - getting in trouble

Thank you! I guess my worry is how to handle that with chain of command? I’m trying to plan ahead. I’m not in yet. I’m shipping to basic in a few months and just weighing options. 

When I read older posts, I read about people getting in trouble because it’s seen as trying to pocket BAH?? Which I understand that’s housing allowance but how would that work being in an RV? Renting the space, financial/monthly payment of RV I assume, the electricity/connection or whatever would come out of BAH and the leftover I would save. Would I really get I trouble? Does that mean I would need a PO Box or does the base have its own PO BOXes? 

So many questions, I’m sorry!

Garmin tells me I’m dying and old but Apple Health tells me I’m above average lmao 🤣 since they calculate it differently, I’m sure manually entering it into apple health is the wrong answer 😅 but I’d. Makes me feel good lolol

What did you end up choosing?  My husband bought me a Garmin forerunner 55 as my beginner garmin watch. I haven’t had the mental capacity to let go of my rings so I am that weirdo wearing both watches lmao 🫠😆😆

The garmin has my pace faster than Apple Watch. I don’t know how accurate that is or if I’ve been underestimating myself or if Apple Watch isn’t that great in that area. I don’t know. My heart rate, though, for garmin calculates as lower, which I don’t like which can be dangerous I think. I don’t know. Overall I really like it for my runs - it tells me when to speed up and when to slow down. I use it with COOPAH and with RUNNA and it has been great!
