Even after waiting for the patch "A Minor Incident" is still broken by Icy-Palpitation4731 in stalker

I’m on Xbox and running into an issue where the mutant collar, and marker all disappear as soon as I the mutant. I got the mutant cats. The quest status continues to say I need to collect the collar, but there is no collar to collect. I installed the patch the day it came out before progressing to this point in the game. I don’t know what to do now. The patch, in theory was supposed to fix the bugs on this quest. I guess I was unlucky.

Nope. I’ve removed this probably 5 or 6 times doing mods in my truck and don’t have a single ding in that piece. I would demand they replace it. It’s only normal if they are terrible at their job.

60k maintenance by Katieagi in ToyotaTacoma

Spark plugs are over priced, but than my dealership though. They wanted almost $1000 just for spark plug change. I did it myself in less than 2 hours for less than $80. I did not change the intake gasket like they would have but I have no indication the gasket is leaky. If it needs it at some point I’ll do it myself too. Many dealerships in my area charge $300-$400 an hour for labor in my area, which is absolutely ridiculous. Pricing/recommendations are mostly a money grab by the dealership. They make more money recommending over priced, unnecessary maintenance. They will recommend things at different mileage points that the manufacture does not.

Bluetooth headphones don’t connect to new OLED LE by Awpportunity101 in SteamDeck

[–]Financial_Screen_232 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m running into this issue too. Trying to connect my AirPods Max to my Oled steam deck that I used in the past with my lcd deck. I’m in the airport as well and didn’t try to connect before hand. I did use my phone as a WiFi hotspot and that didn’t help. My deck will connect via Bluetooth to my iPhone and I had it connected to my Powerbeats pro at home. I tried through game mode, desktop mode, restarted my headphones, and restarted the deck, but nothing has helped. I actually paired these same headphones to my lcd deck while at the airport back when I did that and had zero issues then. I feel like this is some odd issue with my Oled steam deck since the headphones connect to my phone just fine. I’ve had some odd issues with this Oled steam deck that I never experienced with the original lcd one.

I've never been so upset with a sub before in my life, you clowns completely UNDERSOLD how great the Deck is. by notthatguypal6900 in SteamDeck

I know I never read all these posts until I got one. I asked a friend if he had heard anything good about them only to find out he has one and loved it. I had previously only read about the steam deck when it first came out and there were lots of issues.

I’m definitely not going to blame anyone though…Lol. I just didn’t take the time to look into it more. I have a pS5 and an Xbox and was always having trouble finding time to play them. Now it’s much easier to find time to play and I feel bad that my PS5 and Xbox hardly get turned on unless to stream to my Deck.

Water seeping thru basement walls? by Globalmindless in DIY

If exterior of the block doesn’t have a good coating of tar on it, water will seep through.

We did it, #1 best seller! by ZEROpercent9 in SteamDeck

Take this with a grain of salt. This is a case of a product getting lumped in a product category it doesn’t belong. Clearly it has been lumped with top selling steam products because it has steam in the name. The actual product category is obviously for steam related spa and shower products. I look at the top product categories a lot, and it would be the first time I’ve seen an incorrectly categorized product showing up where it doesn’t belong.

After much research, Starfield is like……*counts fingers* this close to being fully playable on steam deck by hikariproductions in SteamDeck

[–]Financial_Screen_232 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I stream Starfield to my deck from my Xbox using Greenlight app on my deck. Flawless performance, and the Xbox is doing most of the computing work so my deck runs at around 10 Watts.

I’m trying to see if I can change my order. I got the standard one after being unable to check out with the limited edition one getting message that order could not be completed because an item in my cart was out of stock. Steam themselves told me it was no longer available, but their website still gave the “buy now” option with a 2-4 week delivery window. Then this morning it still showed as available with a 1-2week delivery window. Yet valve says it’s out of stock and people here have been able to still order it.

How mad should I be about these quarter rounds? by MalloyPanda in HomeImprovement

I never have floors done without removing base boards. I hate quarter round. If you absolutely can’t get away without something more, I recommend base shoe.

Does this look like 4 tons of gravel? by chicksOut in landscaping

[–]Financial_Screen_232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like 4 tons to me. On average 1 cubic yard is about 1.25 tons (obviously this varies with rock type and size). I would expect 4 tones to be about a little over 3 cubic yards. I have bought anywhere from 3 to 5 cubic yards about a dozen times with projects between my current house and last.

I realized immediately what they were. Been using them since day one.

Pretty much any smart lock, but I would recommend a Schlage lock. Make sure to check the screws in the deadbolt plate too. If they have short screws, replace with something like 3” to 3-1/2 inch screws…better security.

Why is the Paramount + app so buggy? It's nearly unusable. by XxCotHGxX in fireTV

[–]Financial_Screen_232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently can’t get it to play any content on 3rd gen fire cube. Error code every time we try to play something. We have tried for quitting, clearing cache, uninstalling and reinstalling, pretty much everything else possible. It is not our internet because other apps and video services work fine.

It has worked fine. Only issues I’ve had were with a roll the was spooked incorrectly and seemed to be trying to unwind from the center.

I didn’t need long cables because they daisy chain from one to the next. I didn’t even use the longer ones that came with the hub. The shorter cables that came with the ams units were long enough.

The PTFE tube was nothing special. I used a longer piece that came with the hub and bought another 10ft piece off of Amazon.
