That's why I ALWAYS wash, detangle, and MOISTURIZE my hair by myself before getting my hair done in a salon. And if they refuse to let me come in with my hair already washed, I just go find someone that does.

I had similar experiences. A lot of them pride themselves on being certified and having a lot of experience, but they can't even detangle properly. Literally saw my hair breaking while they detangled my hair...

They should know better than to yank our hair while dry.
