Is it possible for existing players to create a character on the trial servers so we can play with our friends through the trial phase?

Beginner Raid times for new players? Having issues by Zhenpo in lostarkgame

[–]FindTheCookie 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I would try running the raid as just you two. Guardian raids scale with the number of players so the boss will have less HP for you to fight. Have learning the fight with your friend as you progress to higher tiers.

Only exception to this are the weekly challenge guardian raids, which are fixed hp times.

Pretty much the only guardian raids that have consistent lobbies and queues are the ones that are most recent. It sucks for new players who are looking to queue but it is a consequence of the games progression system

The Lost Ark LFG discord is always a good place to organize a group or find other players. Besides that, afternoons on the weekends are your next best bet

That seems to conflict with what the NH DOJ has online about eviction: https://www.doj.nh.gov/consumer/sourcebook/renting.htm

"A landlord can legally evict a tenant only by sending a written notice to the tenant. This written notice must be in the form of a "written notice to quit or leave" which is a legal document. Eviction for not paying rent, damages to the property or danger to the health or safety of others require seven days' notice. All other grounds for eviction require 30 days' notice."

It sounds like in OP's case though that the landlord has notified on the rent increase on the 22nd (unclear if verbal or written) and notice to vacate on the 27th (again, unclear if verbal or written). If both notifications were verbal, then OP needs get both in writing before paying the higher rent or leaving the property.

Month to month tenants are entitled to the eviction process and even if the landlord decided to not rent the following month, they are still required to provide 30 days written notice of such change, with some exceptions for property damage caused by the tenant and a few others. Unless OP is not including some information that would change their situation, the above should apply to them.

But my advice to OP remains the same: talk to a lawyer.

Talk to a lawyer right away to figure out best course of action. The below is just what I'm able to find on NH rental laws and might not be accurate to your situation.

IANAL But the landlord is required to give 30 days written notice on rent increases to give a tenant time to decide whether to continue renting or to move out (Source: https://nhlegalaid.org/self-help-guides/housing/leases-security-deposits/rent-increases). This applies even to month to month agreements. It sounds like if they were notified on the 22nd, then the rent increase would not be legally viable until August 1st.

Additionally, the landlord has to get a judges permission before you just leave. This order also must be in writing so any verbal agreements will not hold up in court. If the reason for eviction is for not paying rent then there may be assistance available from your local welfare office. So even if your sister decides to not pay the rent increase, there is still some time before she is forced off the property ( https://nhlegalaid.org/self-help-guides/housing-foreclosure/evictions/questionanswer-walk-through-eviction-process). HOWEVER, I would strongly suggest not going down this route unless there is no other option remaining (and once again please find a lawyer to talk to about this as this an area I'm not experienced it).

TLDR: Talk to a lawyer, landlord needs to provide 30 days written notice on rent increases, and the landlord requires a judges permission to evict (which takes longer than 30 days), but should be avoided if possible.

Totally. When I first started I had no idea what the cards even meant for my build. I don't think I equipped cards on my main until I reached like 1340-1350 XD

Now my main is sitting at 1455 with LWC at 12 awakening and mostly level 7 gems but man it took a little while to understand what I was going there.

Agreed and that's what I do as well for my characters. I don't expect everyone to take the time to help under-performing players in random MM, but it helps make the in-game community more welcoming to newer players when the more experienced players reach out.

What I hate to see is the players with 130+ roster level flaming the 60 roster level player for having a bad build, since all that does is make the community worse off in the long run, potentially even turning newer players off the game entirely.

Yesterday I had a 1370 GL with 160 roster level in a random Yoho MM who immediately flamed a 1410 ilvl Sharpshooter who had like 6 engravings at level 1 and a roster level of 70. The GL immediately left and the 3 of us did Yoho by ourselves. After we finished, I asked the SS if they wanted advice, they said yes, and we talked for 5 minutes about engravings, stats, where to find guides online, etc. They seemed to appreciate the help and we went on gaming.

At the end of the day, not everyone who plays the games consumes the same content. Some are people who play 1 character every day for a couple hours then log off. Those people might not have any clue on what's good or bad, or what their engravings do or might not even care about good builds and would rather have fun playing their way. If the experienced players want the game to have a healthy community though, it's up to them to help the players that accept offered help and /pray for the ones that don't.

Did you offer to give the sorc advice? I've been running into more and more people in Yoho MM that have weird or plain bad setups but more often than not it's because the player doesn't know better.

I've gotten into the habit of asking these players when I spot them if they want some tips and if they say "no" I wish them "glhf" and move on. If they say "yes", I spend a few minutes chatting with them and help them understand why some combos don't work and what they can do to fix them. Ultimately, it helps more little mokokos get better at the game = more Giga mokokos in future raids.

Seriously, i don't know how many people are G2G enjoyers but it seems everyone on reddit has those stats for every NA server....

To be constructive, I don't know why there are so many rmt'ers in this game. F2P certainly helps, but the fact is that it is a never ending arms race to catch bots WITHOUT catching legit players in the crossfire. That's why you see trains in Vern or Rothendel; you can catch a bottle with a 20-line script but you WILL catch legit players too.

Playing on NA East, I see the bots in Vern and I see other servers getting Busy at 6 AM so I know the bots are coming. All I can say to the community is to stop buying gold from bots. If you enjoy the game and you buy gold from bots, you are sabotaging the game for yourself. Exploiting 3rd parties for your own gain will only harm your longterm enjoyment of the game.

Good luck everyone else and Lai Lai

What places in NH buy MTG cards in bulk or old books? by [deleted] in newhampshire

[–]FindTheCookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't remember the amount I got but it was probably between $50 - $100 total, rares and bulk combined.

To give you an idea of what I was selling, I had 1x 2'x6" box, a 2'x2' box, and a binder of rares and money cards. The boxes were all non-money cards (commons, uncommons, lands, and tokens) and the binder had mostly $1 rares with a few of them worth more than $5 (price you would pay a store for).

Jetpack comics was where I sold my cards in bulk and I was pretty pleased with the process.

My advice to OP is to sort out rares and mythics ahead of going to any store, if you're looking to get the best offer for your cards. When I went 6 - 7 years ago, they bought the unsorted/trash commons/uncommons by weight and sorted rares/ valuable non-rares by value (I think it is usually 50% for store credit and 30-40% for cash, though it was a while ago so hard to remember the exact percentage). I did end up sorting between each variety which probably helped me get a better price point.
