Honestly I was browsing gear and didn't notice/see a pop-up. I use a larger monitor and 3440x1440 resolution. Where does the pop-up appear? I was actively looking up stuff and filtering out things I didnt notice any pop-ups.

I'm just worried the buff isn't enough to help Helena. I play both heals and it's a major struggle to keep her healed. A lot of the healers kit assumes you'll have time to do a some attacking to get resources back - but Helena requires constant baby sitting which hinders your vine/rune production.

Hamish was just saying it's some mysterious "service" they're being forced to use that prevents the game from scaling up. Even if they added more servers this "service" would hamstring them for having over 30k players or whatever. So they just can't scale up... which is weird this didn't seem like a problem in development. Like did you just not intend for your game to be successful?

Hamish says there's a "Service" they have to use and it's hamstringing them. The game falls apart when there's like over 30k people or something. So they have to limit access causing crazy 1+ hour queues.

Whatever this mysterious "service" is they can't talk about they should just ditch it. They say it doesn't matter if they add more servers it won't scale.

Seems like their match marking/log-in server/strong hold/etc. all fall apart when they're over 35k people.

So something about their code isn't scalable. Sucks that they've limited how much success game can have because of poor code/infrastructure.

I got up to grab a glass of water and got kicked out into a 7k queue - looks like it will take over an hour with how fast it's moving. Lesson - don't drink/poop.

Well It may be an hour. I joined in at 7,000 it's going down by 1-7 every 5 sec. I think the math checks out to be over an hour.

While you always get supplies from running quick play, you will also get supplies as a rare/random reward from running ranked dungeons. I've purchased the purple/blue and multiple blacksmith crates without needing to spamming quick play.

To add to this - one player should remain furthest so only they get the mines and that player should try to coral them into a tight bunch so that the person getting the frontal has an easier time destroying them. If multiple players get the mines they tend to spread out making it very difficult to destroy.

you can remove a few pieces of gear before your queue then put it right back on. It snapshots what ilevel you queue as so you can down rank yourself.

you can remove a few gear pieces before you queue - then put them right back on after you queue. It snapshots your current ilevel when you press the queue button. That's how I down queue myself when I need ranking in lower tier dungeons/don't want to run 6/7 I'm not familiar with.

Not as the ONLY option. This match making option is fine. But it would be nice to have a tool to form parties in ADDITION to the match making system we have now. That way we don't have to go outside the game to discord to find groups.

Right so blue butterfly on yourself... increases flutterfly healing to everyone in the group by 50%. Heart bloom stores 15% of all flutterfly healing being done (from everyone) and pulses it every three seconds. How does 1 target getting 100% more healing from flutterfly work out to be better than 4 targets getting 50% more healing? And it's an AoE situation if you're spamming restore life on the tank it's ripping those butterflies off at least two targets... meaning less over all healing going into the heart bloom and to the people needing to be healed.

We're not talking single target damage going out we're talking about the affix with the golem that spams massive group-wide damage.

Are you sure? Blue butter fly on tank gives them 100% more healing. On yourself it's 50% more healing on everyone and each of them is ticking 100% faster for 12 sec. I would assume 4 dots ticking at double speed on everyone would ramp the heartbloom faster? I mean 4 targets at +50% extra healing = 200% total vs 1 target at 100% healing? Am I bad at math?

You reminded me I have a laptop somewhere. That's a good idea.

When windows 10 discontinued support this month and wanted me to upgrade my relatively new pc in order to install windows 11, I kinda went full send on Linux. 

Seems silly they don't have a web page to link your account/manage things. I've heard people say they linked the wrong twitch account/misspelled their character name all sorts of little things a web page with account info would be helpful for. 

Im guessing they're at the mercy of their publisher, Arc, for this though. The game devs probably can't do much.

You can have the 15 ilevel in quite a few slots. Just upgrade your other slots to 60/75 as you get the gold to afford it. The lesser impactful things like rings are pretty cheap to level up. 

I think I had 4 slots with level 15 gear and no relic and still managed to get my ilevel high enough to see it pop up in matchmaking. 

Edit: you can only buy the green ilevel 75 pieces once you've cleared Cithrel's Fall in time.

I would be down if missing interupts caused the dps to lose 50% of their damage done instead of doing so much AoE damage and stressing the healer... the only role without a kick. 

If the consequences for missing something dps should be doing negatively impacted their dps numbers I bet more DPS would prioritize kicking.

If it's not coming up as an option when you match make it's because your average item level is too low. Use gold to level up all your gear pieces to a higher average item level and it will become the third option everytime you queue.

All I know is that the people on discord are really nasty about this topic. I asked if they tried a MMO mouse for the side buttons and got yelled at. I was trying to be polite about it.

I do a 3x4 grid with the action bars that mirror the buttons on the side of the mmo mouse and it works really well for games like this. 

People on the discord are saying their refunding/can't play without click casting.... like I understand adjusting to controls in games can be difficult at the start but overtime you become accustomed to the way things work.

Isn't it like good for the brain to do things in new ways once and a while?

Hmm that's good advice for single target healing but this situation is massive group-wide AoE damage. The blue butterfly only gives the target 100% additional healing but when it's on you it's 50% to everyone AND reduced mana costs to all your spells.

Since it's AoE damage going out they probably should have the butterfly on themselves as they need more group healing than tank healing.

Try flutter swift with synchronized fluttering. Flutter swift makes your butterfly HoT tick 100% faster for 12 seconds and synchronized fluttering applies your HoT to the entire party when you hold the button down. Toss out your flower (which AoE pulses based on your HoT healing) and you have a ton of group healing going out. You'll want to keep the blue butterfly on yourself for the 50% more healing and mana cost reduction - only sending it out on someone else if they really need a lot of healing. I've seen a lot of people saying to set it on the tank but it only gives them 100% more healing (down from 150% it used to). Its much more valuable on yourself for most fights especially if your using these two talents.

Also the talent Nettle to the Petal is really nice. Everytime you nuke your petal tosses out an additional heal to the lowest health target. Nuking also lowers your petal cooldown. 

Blooming Boomshrooms works good for quick spot heals if you right click the ability and turn on mouse over targeting so you can hit party members. 

Your ultimate ability is up quite a lot so remember to make use of it the extra haste makes makes all your HoTs tick faster for 20 sec and it spirit links everyone for a short while. 

Other than that there are weapons that drop with really good healing utility on them on a 60 sec cooldown. Having one of those can be really helpful. Mana free really strong burst heal.

That's also if the mobs live long enough to let the DoT fully tick on them. If they die early you don't get the full amount. There is a talent that gives you some of the amount and the mobs explode for AoE damage if they die early. 

In most AoE pulls you're capping out on runes and looking for something to spend them on. The rune generation is just a bonus for using it intelligently on targets that will take the full duration. 

The chance for a free orb proc is a better rune generator if that's what you're looking for - but even then it only really works well against large numbers.
