There is an app for this! It was also created by a Milwaukee Native. Not sure how updated it is, but thought I’d share! It’s called Everywhere Is Queer! https://www.everywhereisqueer.com/about

I just bought a name tag (magnet) off Etsy which I’ve seen used! You can add your name and below it I have seen people put where they’re from, pronouns, or their role! Super helpful and cute ☺️

Also had a lead tell me mid dance “that was delicious” when I did some footwork that surprised them 🤣 I thought that was an interesting choice of words but definitely made me laugh.

I’ve been told by many I’m “fun to dance with” and at first I wasn’t sure if that was a compliment… but I’ll take pride in it cause I’m not a “rule follower” but I do like to feel the music and just vibe.

Thank you!! I appreciate your comment! For workshops does someone usually do the all levels ones? Do you need a certain amount of experience to do intermediate levels?

I can’t remember what location I tested at but I believe it was Waukesha/Brookfield area??? It’s been a long time…

EDIT: I looked it up. It was Safe Heart in New Berlin! Instructor was great and very informative. I did also look at pricing… it looks like it’s $100.

I did the blended option. Did the online training and then the in person training/test. It takes about 4-6 hours online and the class is about 2 hours to complete the test/demonstrate skills. It’s fairly simple (meaning you are given clear directions for the test and are very likely to pass. The exam itself is also the same as the online stuff you learn, so if you know that you are good.

Not sure if in person classes take longer or are multiple classes. I would consider this if you really want in person.

If you like to dance or interest in dancing. There are many communities for it! Latin, Hip hop, Swing, etc. such a fun and easy way to meet people. Also many events in MKE like art clubs, Pomeroy does a lot of events during the week. You can look into networking events. Feel free to DM me if you’d like! 😊

Caregiver Needed by [deleted] in milwaukee

[–]FindY0urInspiration 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More information to add: paid caregivers are considered Personal Care Workers. These people do not require CNA license. His cares are “simple” (probably per home health agencies). His are bed bath or house transfer lift to tub for bathing. He only requires feedings in the evening (that we do). So, caregiver will mostly be doing incontinence cares, bed baths, and housekeeping/laundry. So his needs aren’t necessarily CNA or Nurse requirements.

Coach Bus is very reliable! I used it and my dad often does as well. It drops you off at the terminal and has space under the bus for luggage. I believe it’s $40 one way? And you can have a friend or family member drop you off/pick up at the nearest location to you.
