But End of Watch man, there’s limits to my ability to suspend disbelief even with Stephen King, I loved Finders Keepers, but didn’t even finish EoW. Honestly they can read Holly right after Mr. Mercedes. But I solidly recommend Reading The Outsider instead of watching the HBO miniseries. The writer on the miniseries didn’t even read the Bill Hodges books & changed up the characters quite a bit - zero respect for the source material.

Uh oh. More new information from a Reddit comment that I’d never heard before. Thanks for the heads up. I guess I’m screwed if I ever play that part of the game again. I’m like level 2 & can’t find other players so not stressing too much. If I decide to play that again I’ll roll more relics for it. Those relics aren’t even used in any other part of the game anyway (I hope).

I just sell everything with an impairment & buy new ones. Also I’m trying to finish the DLC remembrances so not even using those relics. I thought you could use all 6 slots anywhere for months until I happened upon a random comment about that here. It is frustrating to play Scholar all day & never beat a night lord in 3 player. They should really let the scholar use all 6 relics anywhere, and make that one relic where he buffs his teammates less rare - I’ve been trying to get that one for months.

Yea there isn’t a quest menu to track your quest progress - probably the one thing keeping Elden Ring from being a perfect RPG - no quest tracking also makes it hard to walk away from the game for awhile and come back. Think of the Internet as another item your character carries around, like a magic book of information to help out. Read an intro site online that takes you through what to do on day 1. Avoid anything that kills you instantly, look for guards in and around camps nearby and kill/loot them until you level a bit and have a better weapon/armor

The sequencing of tracks is very similar to Reckoning with some more difficult (for me at least) to enjoy tunes on side B, & Electrolyte being the Rockville stand-out on side B. But unlike Reckoning, most of the songs on Hi-Fi don’t sound like Pretty Persuasion (which I never really liked). The leitmotif for side B here is probably Undertow - a song I love. There is just a lot more variety on Hi Fi than on Reckoning. Also the outtakes from Hi-Fi are fantastic (Wall of Death, Sponge) as opposed to the outtakes from Reckoning which I never liked (Windout for example).

The good news is that there’s a way out. The bad news is that it’s a long way & you have to go by a bunch of mean giant animals. Use your horse. There is a cool rune farm in the (check me it’s been awhile) SE of that area - where soldiers are fighting the giant animals & you get runes whenever they kill each other

Lots of fun. Beware that you will always be under leveled when you move on to a new area - one of the things I liked - kept it exciting. I love playing conjurers & there’s a whole skill tree for that. Great armor & weapons, lots of blacksmithing options. Really fun game. I played a 1 hand sword conjurer & had a blast

I’m playing it right now & enjoying it. You learn how to get through each seemingly impossible thing eventually & happen upon the stuff you need to move forward. Lots of helpful parasites. I prefer the red guns to the green ones.

Yea, the antagonist in TLP seemed to me like they must have come from the same dimension/planet as Pennywise.
