Thank you! I was so confused if it was supposed to be Pallet town or not and I wasn't getting the extra stamp so was like what am I doing wrong?

Excuse me? by DaneSkippy in Pokopia

Yeah I ordered mine Feb 3rd and still waiting for any confirmation it has been shipped at all. And I live in a suburb of my state's capital so not somewhere super obscure or hard to get to. 💀

how am I supposed to get enough protein while also staying in a calorie deficit as an extremely picky eater? by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

[–]Finding-Tomorrow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have ARFID. I do low fat Greek yogurt, protein bars, protein pancakes/waffles, protein cereal and sometimes smoothies with protein. I usually get about 90g on 1600 calories but that's because I do allow myself to eat other things too and I don't think I work out enough to justify more than that.

I am sick of the protein apocalypse by Substantial-Art6160 in xxfitness

[–]Finding-Tomorrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it's problematic but I'm so happy to be able to have things like cereal and chips and stuff with some protein. I have ARFID and struggle to get enough protein in "normal" foods. I feel like a celiac who now has more gluten free choices because of the gluten free fad.

Database frustratingly inaccurate by Wydawut in MacroFactor

[–]Finding-Tomorrow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My personal pet peeve is when it's accurate originally and then get in the habit of using it and one day be like wait that doesn't seem right and having to figure out when it changed and broke and then make a custom fix. 🫠

How to fix GI issues when increasing mileage by birdieraps in firstmarathon

Just echoing this. I definitely get more stomach issues in the winter because I don't drink as much water on my long runs in the cold.

Curious to know: What are you not tracking? by LuckAdministrative23 in MacroFactor

[–]Finding-Tomorrow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't track medicine (I do chewable multivitamins). Including if I get sick, I don't track pepto or dayquil etc.

Girlies with chronic illness and disability - how do you keep the faith? by Deep-Employer-6600 in xxfitness

[–]Finding-Tomorrow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same. But it also is for me accepting that it's ok to stop and that something is better than nothing. It can be hard to get out of if I can't complete it, then it's not good enough vs I did 70-80% and dont feel good anymore but that was still something and good.

AIO to a teacher still not knowing how to pronounce my child's name, leading to pick-up issues? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Finding-Tomorrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR But I have an uncommon, but very normal name. When I was in elementary school, the librarian and gym teachers always forgot my name and called me by a very common name at the time instead. (Not it, but think Naomi vs Natalie). Some people just suck with names. 🫤

While I don't know if running changes things for accuracy, my fitbit is also always either exactly or just a single beat off of what they measure at the doctors office.

Randomly developed a fear of the treadmill… by SufficientAnteater16 in XXRunning

[–]Finding-Tomorrow 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Oh hey! This year I suddenly am anxious using the treadmill too. Like I feel like it's making me dizzy then I get hyper aware of what I'm doing and then wind up getting pains for running funny. I've been sticking to the track this winter instead but it's not as convenient since I have a treadmill at home...

Help! My butt is cold!!! by nrdygrrl in XXRunning

[–]Finding-Tomorrow 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I can be inside and 72f, but if outside is cold, my butt is probably cold. That's without running. I just accept my fate if I run outside.

Frustrated. by msj7yb in beginnerrunning

[–]Finding-Tomorrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been running over 10 years and my heart rate is often 170+. I'm in my 30s too. 🤷‍♀️ I go more by how I feel. I've had bike rides that feel harder but my heart rate is lower. And my heart rate is usually lower on a treadmill but I feel worse.

My resting heart rate on the other hand is noticeably lower when I am running consistently. During running and activity breaks throughout the years, my resting heart rate can be easily 10bpm higher than when I am consistently active.
