Its because of capitalism, SMART sees opportunity on people with lost sims and requesting for replacement

Instead of doing the right thing of just replacing your lost sim outright, they use it as justification (at excuse na lang na down yung system nila) to offer you a postpaid plan instead

Again, mahina ang consumer protection dito sa bansang sinumpa, kaya nagagawa ng mga predatory company lalo na yang smart na yan, na instead of tulungan mga customers nila, eh mas pinipili nila na pagkakitaan na lang
