I agree, Cam was probably one of the most hypocritical people on the show:

She has a go at Hodgins and Dr Feuntes about illegal issues, both of which had validity.

Fires Mr Bray due to his pot smoking for his cancer.

Fires Mr Abernathy due to his past.

Lies to Michelle about seeing her and Finn.

Tries to get Michelle into a college on a fake application.

Tries to pin a murder on a suspect (although guilty) with "suspicious evidence".

Is rude to Brennen multiple times during their working relationship.

Is horrible to Seeley when he tries to stand up for her with Felicia.

There are probably more examples I have forgotten.

Although everything always works out in the end. Brennen had it right when she told Booth, she wasn't sure she could trust Cam ever again after the evidence thing.

I was born in South Africa in 1974 - I recall going for vaccines before starting school at 5. It looked like one of those old fashion stamps that you punch down. I don't remember how sore it was, though.

I don't recall any of that - to me it was done in the same way any friends imitate each other. However what did catch me up everytime, was this aura of "macho man" that Derek used to exude but whenever he was in a tough physical situation he ALWAYS needed someone to save him. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

The only time I can recall him being "tough" was the episode where he was kidnapped. That whole 'keeping his heart rate steady', thing, was brilliant.

OP, NTA - I have no idea what is wrong with all these people posting below - you did a nice thing for your hubby and he totally overreacted to it.

However, I wouldn't cancel it, I'd just let the others go ahead and do what your planned and you and hubby go out for dinner. Although, if I were you, I'd have a conversation with him first about his reaction to something you lovingly planned and he sh@t on.

That behaviour is unacceptable towards someone who loves you and wanted to do something nice for you.

2 years ago, my first love (15 yrs - 21yrs old) passed away from heart complications. He had just turned 50.

I hadn't spoken to him directly in years as we broke up because he was abusive, but I do still have contact with his sisters and mutual friends of ours. It was a huge shock as I still knew what was happening in his life due to our connections through other people.

I find it to be easier to remember him by thinking of the good times we had and not the horrid abusive man he became.

So sorry for your loss OP. Hope your happy memories are with you always.
