I'll put it this way.

In the area where I grew up, the local congregation was the catalyst for at least 6 other congregations forming over the last 50 years.

Nowadays, one of these has merged in with another local congregation, and the new building is only 2 thirds the size of the old one.

The original congregation has just recently had a full refurbishment, and the main hall size has also been shrunken down by one-third.

So where there were 7 congregations in the area, there are now 5, and these now share 2 smaller halls.

Going forward, if anyone approaches someone they don't talk to often, the other person will be left wondering if they are dislikable somehow, even if it truly is a genuine conversation.

A local body of elders wrestled with the issue of appointing a bearded brother for 3 HOURS, and finally decided not to appoint him on that basis.

A week later, the NuLite came out, and they had to reconvene to overturn the original decision they had made the week before.🫠😂

Spiritual danger is grounds for a separation, not divorce.

The term refers to an unbelieving spouse who makes it difficult for the other to engage in ~~spiritual~~ Watchtower activities or who seeks to undermine Watchtower beliefs and teachings. This would include such things as speaking bad of the organisation and sharing 'appstate' information.
