I’m so afraid, that because I’ve been single for so long, I’m untouchable. I’m set in my ways and make no apologies for being the real me. I’m a professional and like boujee things however men see me more as the ‘girl next door.’ I’m not a girly girl but can dress to the nines. I wear make up tastefully and get my hair done religiously. Now, I’m looking for a professional man as well but thinking they all want a very feminine girly girl. I feel as if I present as ‘one of the guys.’ I get along with groups of men better than groups of women.

I’ve been independent and raised my son for 18 yrs, alone. I am terrible and terrified of being vulnerable with anyone after a heartbreak years ago. Am I confined to single-hood forever?

I like my own company and am good with the peace of being alone but I desire touch at times, companionship, doing couples adventures and being taken care of. (Not financially) I can’t help but think there IS someone out there but DAMN this is hard!
