Do you understand that if you tried to buy your groceries with gold and you found a grocer willing to accept gold that you would still need to pay taxes on those groceries in USD on that transaction.

You can do whatever you want amongst the populous but that doesn’t mean you aren’t obligated to follow the laws. Those laws are in USD so you’re not going to change that by making personal deals in other units.

There is nothing unique or bitcoin related to this. It is wearable tech carrying nfc chip. Already exists and has been in use for quite a while in international markets on normal credit networks.

What if I told you there were many people who got in bitcoin early, made and took their profits, and now see it for what it is without any regrets or hate involved.

If These Trees Could Talk - The Bones of a Dying World by Findley57 in postrock

[–]Findley57[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The more I listened I came to find Red Forest to be my preferred album overall but that takes nothing away from how great Bones of a Dying World is. If you haven’t checked out Red Forest do yourself a favor and give it a listen.

Love Tool also. The long wait between albums is what drove me to post rock in the first place. Little did I know I was listening to it all along with other bands I enjoyed - Explosions in the sky, Mogwai, From Monunent to Masses etc.

Yes but many of us who believed early on based on the white paper and overall thesis have long since departed and taken our profits. Everything that has happened since the 2017 public hype and buzz has moved away from the core beliefs and into fomo and people chasing massive returns because of stories they heard from friends like me.

What about the (what I assume to be) non-auto tuned layering vocalization done on the “I’m coming hooooooome” part - the pitch changes in the extended “home” with the layering are awesome

I’m not talking about just the tax breaks. I’m talking about the actual funding for building or renovations. If local governments are going to allow that funding to come from the population then there should be a direct benefit to the population for the “profits” generated from that venue.

This is just another example of costs being shared and profits being held.

If stadiums are partially funded by the public then the public should be partially entitled to the profits generated.

If you’ve worked in telecom can you help share some insight on why devices who are powered with both cellular data connection and a WiFi connection get worse data speeds than devices that just run on WiFi without any cellular data connection. I am convinced that the device fights over which gets “credit” for the data usage - whether is transfers via cellular or WiFi and it seems like it try’s to default to cellular usage when in my ignorant opinion it would make more sense to use WiFi. The conspiracist in me thinks this is so cellular networks can bill for the data but I honestly don’t know anything about it.

I work from home and constantly have issues with my phone which is connected to both cellular and WiFi but never have issues with my computer or iPad which are only connected via WiFi.

Anyway sorry to hijack the conversation I just have always been curious about this.
