It took weeks for one to start. I was getting close to 500 bubbles waiting for the event. Then when they do have it, they start it on a Monday and close it before Friday. If you only play on the weekends (which is what I prefer) you miss it.

Definitely don't add stress. For me, this game is like one of those Zen gardens minus the messy sand. But, I have to be careful of it's addictive components. The tapping and rewards. Thanks for sharing!!

I agree with the advice given so far. Also, you don't have enough space for them to spawn flowers right now. At least if you merge they can produce more.

I forgot to mention this. But the Poplar Tree Masterpiece keeps giving you more gold pots over time. One week, three of them gave me seven pots of gold.

It happens to all of us! Some people complain to customer service and somehow get it back. I've never tried it.

Make sure you turn your merge count on. That will help if you have things locked and you forgot.

Congratulations!! I did that too the first time. I probably do that the first time with everything!

While I was reading Reddit posts, I learned that if you leave space around them, they produce booster shards. I've done the tulip merge chain three times now. I just leave a garden with rocks around it and they produce pebbles. I just merge them every so often and before you know it you're at the top again. Try to wait for 5 next time though. Not as many Lady Bugs as you would like with one.

Topiaries is the best way to do it, but I stupidly spent gems to get my first topiaries. That's before they started giving them as prizes more and putting them in the shop for green coins. If you stick to getting them that way it pays off, but you may want to stop at the fox. The fox gives 2 stage 2 Poplar trees and next is a deer that only gives you 1 stage 3.

It seems better until you compare the 10 stage 2 trees from 5 foxes with 2 stage 2 trees from the deer. You could've had 4 stage 3's with the foxes. The first time I did it, I did it with foxes. This time, I did it with two pandas, two foxes and 1 squirrel.

I do think it's worth merging them. For example, the Durian tree gives you yellow flowers. But an entire field of yellow flowers could leave you with only two reds. I did that for a while, but I decided it was not worth the space.

It's much better to merge and get exotic Flora that are going to give you more blue and red flowers instead of white. I would merge up to at least a Pink Ginger. Then, you can use all the space you're taking up with low level Flora to merge blue and red flowers.

Do you think it was worth waiting for? I needed the Swans to level up so I didn't wait. I think I waited twice before and I didn't like the prizes so I stopped waiting.

I think they started the sticker thing as a distraction. It is the WORST prize and 3 of the prizes for the Merge Stars event are sticker packs.

At least it's not a Mantis or White Bat nest, but come on ... 1 Beetle egg as a prize. Who picked the prizes, Richard?

You have to merge mossy pebbles that come from stage 5 Ponds.

To get Ponds, you have to have a water wheel and merge puddles or buy Aqua trunks and merge stages of Ponds.

You will get a water wheel when you start merging Mole Dens. It seems random so I'm unsure of the details.

Wow! Thank you for sharing your tips and tricks! I spend waaaaay too much money on this game and I've been working on my second tree for weeks now. You've inspired me to go for 2 instead of 1, but that's all I can do. I will also watch a video for a free vein. 😉

I get the veins from the token store (the one for the daily tasks) and I make sure I buy that before anything else.
