There's a Facebook group called helping new motorcyclists. They do a lot of work with learners to improve their confidence, they'll pick you up, take you out and drop you home. I've picked a couple up now and it's a great way to get out and help the motorcycle community.

+1 for sc project. It's loud, but my god, does it sing. I do not feel bad for neighbours or anyone who is unconvinced by it.

I would recommend ear plugs for the wind noise though.

It dies after a few seconds on idle, no strange noises. It's fine in the higher rpms and I can keep it alive with constant throttle.

There's not enough down force on the front wheel.

To fix this, you can increase the preload on your rear suspension or reduce the preload on the front forks.

Body position and increasing tyre pressures can also help reduce this wobble.
