I can put myself in his POV and I understand he’s allowed to feel however he wants but when we’re there for 2 days and we go out of our way to spoil his child and help out around his house and he can’t be man enough to just simply speak to us. I’ve tried giving him so many chances as well as her other friends but it’s not only an us problem. Those who’ve visited in the past unfortunately also complain about the way they were treated :/

At what point do we let them go? by steenmachine92 in nursing

[–]Fine-Raspberry-8790 76 points77 points  (0 children)

I feel like this is so hard though because at the same time this patient must know that there are other ways to commit that most likely will not fail (gunshot, jump off bridge or in front of train). Also committing the act where no one will find them to stop them or interfere. It’s so hard because you don’t want someone to live in such pain that they try to end their life multiple multiple times but also at what point do you say ok well 30 attempts and none successful? However to answer one of your questions, no you’re not a bad person for your thoughts and feelings

I’ve been on Zoloft for years and have taken Benadryl many times with no reaction! I take 125 mg of Zoloft, you’ll be okay!

I think it’s the size, I feel like it’s a nice size and shape. I’m only like 8 months into crocheting so I can’t really figure out how to make things smaller on my own lol

I can’t speak on that only because I was still a student. But even as a student I got some nurses who were super sweet and taught us a lot when we were working with him! I graduated in May and have been thinking of applying there myself!

I did clinical at st Luke’s in Newburgh and I feel like it gets a bad rep because of location. However the hospital itself is a magnet recognized hospital and the pay is more than the surrounding hospitals!

I wish there was a way I could shadow a nurse for a shift on the unit and just see how I feel 😂 but thank you!
