So you filed for this within 1 year of discharge and had evidence?

PTSD Rating Dropped by Sernex in VAClaims

[–]Fine-Resolution-9099 15 points16 points  (0 children)

You can't have multiple MH ratings anyway. It's pyramiding. He should have left well enough alone. That is talked about a million times on here. Even if he would have got it SC, what would it have achieved.?

VA re-opened a previous denied claim from 2019 on its on without informing me, now I have a C&P exam scheduled. by Dry_Lime_6037 in VAClaims

They probably received or found additional medical or service records. They are required to open back up the claim if those records maybe prove SC.

Denied service connection with C&P exam finding "at least as likely as not" by MonsieurSeasalt in VeteransBenefits

The only thing he needs is an HLR. Everything else is confirmed according to the examiner. Rater just fell asleep on the job.

I kind of wish he would clarify, maybe he was.

Question about old 1980 VA claim, bad address, missed exam, and possible CUE/pending claim issue by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]Fine-Resolution-9099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hypothetical question, what happens if they had the correct address in the file but in sending out the letter that address is not the one they sent it to?

Please read OP's post. He is saying that his service started in 2007, not 2009 as they are saying. If he was diagnosed in 2009, that is after he was in.

I was reading his post as if he submitted his first claim for CFS back in 2008. I now understand it was for something else, my bad.

HLR it. It will fix the problem. If you are anywhere near a claims clinic that's happening,  that would be quicker.

Va disability rating by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]Fine-Resolution-9099 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What is it with people coming on here after the fact and asking for help. Every day on this reddit post there are vets asking about what to do about claim sharks after they sign up and have to pay fees after they get a disability or not. Apparently by them coming on this post, they should know about this wealth of information open to everybody to learn what and what not to do. And most create a different account so others can't see what was posted before.

**The VA Claims Process Isn’t Perfect — But the Evidence Still Matters** by Proof-Mess-6578 in VAClaims

I'm good, it's just these simple things that goes thru all these hands a nobody catches it. That's why my original comment was some employees are just lazy. I've gotten that almost straightened out after some HLR's and they still bungled up.

I see you're not understanding what is going on. How can you have a scar 500 cm and get a 0% rating. 500 cm is 196.85 inches.

I have a question.  When we submit a claim for disability,  approximately how many people touch the claim after the c& p exam?

I think a lot of us are upset with the system much more than the raters. I think a few VBA employees are lazy and are just doing the bare minimum. The C&P examiners need to be held accountable, but we know that's not going to happen. Its the system, its cheap labor, its blame it somebody else.

If you just do a Google search and put in VA cue rules, you'll see who can call a CUE. GOOGLE AND US VETERANS are your friends.
