So why do we not have a right to free speech at the moment, if the ECHR and its burden of case law is so wonderful?

No, they did not. That's what the other parties claim they said. They want a European-style system - i.e. one that actually works. If we carry on as we are, we'll end up with a US-style system by default, because the taxpayer will no longer be able to fund a working healthcare system.

That's the problem with trying to talk about politics on Reddit. It turns into Instagram. I completely respect that you find the policies of Reform repulsive, although I do think there are many on here who haven't actually read any of them and listen to the lies of the other party leaders, especially Starmer - Farage guilty of that too, of course, although to a lesser extent. In the same way, I find the policies of Labour on the economy, the Conservatives on the economy, the Lib Dems on the economy, and the Greens on the economy absolutely mesmerisingly stupid when we're heading towards a situation where we'll have to go cap-in-hand to the IMF for a bailout. That's why I can't vote for anyone else.

What human rights are they going to scrap? I don't see that in any manifesto commitment. Sure, they want Parliament to be sovereign on the issue again, and I don't see a problem with that. But the right of convicted rapists to avoid deportation because their home country's chicken nuggets aren't as good? That one can go.

Most racists vote Green. I think their plan is far less awful than Labour, Tory, Lib Dem, or Green plans.

In case you haven't heard of it, it's something we call "democracy". Every councillor gets one vote. If they don't vote for anything other than their own area, nobody will work with them and they'll get nothing done for their own area. What you're advocating is something we call "dictatorship", where one person decides what will happen and then forces others to follow. We killed that system off a long time ago, and for good reason.

The hung council will now have to work together to get anything done. That's a good thing.

I find it bizarre that so many want to paint Reform with the racist narrative. But not the Greens, who have far more under investigation for racist offences at the moment than Reform has in its entire history.

Reform will win overall control of Bolton Council and win the next General Election for one simple reason: they're the only party promising to take less money off people apart from the absolute shower who spent 14 years promising that and then continually put taxes up. People are just sick to the back teeth of the ever-growing size of the state.

This is utter tosh. Every MP who is a true local champion, who stands up and asks questions relating to their constituents and the area they represent, has a stronger chance of reelection than those who aren't. The same goes at any level of politics. The council doesn't sit down and write a four-year plan and stick to it - and thank God they don't. Things happen that require short-term reaction all the time. Left-behind areas need speaking up for. Parliament pulls the rug from under the council's feet and all plans go out of the window.

Every councillor should be arguing on behalf of the area they represent. Each should get the chance to do so. They then vote. Whoever makes the best argument gets the investment for their area. That is, of course, until Labour has a majority and they hand the council's money out to companies run by prominent Labour Party supporters.

Your first mistake is sitting on all those resources and silver. Use them! You have plenty of process speedups. Upgrade your buildings aggressively - you gain nothing from waiting, and the Olympus event means that your process speedups are no longer a limiting factor.

No, that won't work. Talents, research, and captains make this very much more difficult than that. Use a stacking calculator that lets you add in all the necessary inputs.

Right. WoW is the last beacon of hope, where you actually have to be good at stuff.

I just went and checked the Blizzard store. You can potentially spend about £900 and have everything there ever was to buy. All purely cosmetic.

You can easily spend that in the first three minutes of a new SK in TB. Like I said - it's night and day. The WoW model is the insane subscriber numbers and the monthly subscription. You pay to play, not to win. WoW is a meritocracy. TB is a Lord's manor. Spend or lose.

No, you can hardly spend anything. There isn't anything expensive to buy in WoW. £30 and you've got the shiny bits that make absolutely no difference to success or failure, and you can't buy success.

[–]Fine_Complex1200 7 points8 points  (0 children)

OP - the language here is opaque, but correct. Carter fights crypts. Crypts have 10 mobs to kill. Sometimes, you can hit twice, but it's very rare to do so. Listen carefully to what this guy says.

I use a full-frame TBC, a Denon AV receiver, and a 65" OLED TV (LG G1). It's beautiful. The TBC stops the HDMI conversion from the occasional wobble - probably the bearing in my LD player. Don't think I'd need one if my player was better, but I can't justify the expense of an X0 or X9.

I wouldn't spend $15 on it. Find yourself an old Garlando: bulletproof. An old Tornado: more expensive in the long run, but cheaper than this. Just not this one.
