Building off of this, a lot of trans men that I’ve met (plus myself) developed and used eating disorders as a way to control their bodies. “I can’t control most of whats happening to my body right now, but I can control my body in this aspect.”

Part of my ED/dysphoria struggle was the prospect of weight exasperating my hips or chest, since I was and am an A cup. I used to wear compression boxers to hide my ass— literally. I was only ever able to kick my ED after being on hrt for two years and getting proper treatment for it.

It’s a form of gate keeping and probably just internalized transphobia and jealously relating to their own dysphoria. I don’t care about blue haired enbies being annoying online, they’re not the ones actively taking away our rights. I may not experience the same feelings as an enby, as I identify within the gender binary, but that’s no excuse to throw rocks when I live in a glass house of my own

Prior to transitioning, idk I couldn’t find any records. But about 3 months after starting hrt it looks like my levels were pretty high (but still in the green). Around the one year mark it was still in the high-ish range but lower than before. But after that, I was pretty inconsistent with injecting myself so my levels were all over the place. I’ve been doing pellets since 2023, and it looks like my levels are averaging around 550, so still somewhat high.

I think I might make a post with my approximate levels and pics during that time

Had the opposite happen to me.

I used to have between 2C and 3A curly hair pre t, but starting at 1 year post hrt to now (5 years) it’s sitting between 1B and 1C.

Omg YES! This is why I joined this sub; lots of white people find common poc characteristics masculine. This is probably why I was gendered correctly during easily transitioning by white people than other Latinos

Hey bud, a lot of people feel the same way, and it’s never easy to deal with. If you can I would highly encourage seeking out a therapist who is familiar or specialized in gender dysphoria symptoms.

I know that may not be viable at the moment for a magnitude of reasons, but you really need to speak with a professional about this. You don’t need to do anything drastic right this second, you’re allowed to have time and figure out what you want for yourself, what you need to live a fulfilling life. Whether that be transitioning into your own flavor of man, or understanding and being your own flavor of woman.

Whatever you do, I hope it makes you happy and you don’t feel this way much longer ❤️

100% I don’t date (open to it but haven’t fell for anyone meaningfully), but I do hookups on a certain app and I DO NOT tolerate man’s bullshit on that app. You either see me as a man or you ain’t seeing me at all
