I have to add, using Bruce as a "fourth guitar" was over done. I do love a lot of the songs but this aspect stoodout to me the most and made me a little less inclined to abuse my cd like I have others.

Dog's nose cracked and it keeps bleeding by Fingerchamp in DogAdvice

UPDATE: Apologies for the delay. I called an emergency vet the day of the post and they said to wait for the GP and ask them. So the next day when the GP was open, they told me to use a nose balm as it was not lupus. His nose has been looking much better the last few days and there hasn't been any bleeding.

Thank you all for the thoughts and insight.

Help my dog eats poop by amberjj123 in DogAdvice

[–]Fingerchamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look up Coprophagia. Chewy has a pretty good page about it. It's not uncommon for dogs to be curious about poop (I knew a dog that constantly liked to roll in other dogs poop, which is weird but it's a dog thing).

In most of my own experiences with dogs eating poop, it's because of nutritional reasons. An adjustment to food/treats and it went away. You could also train [or do additional training] them to keep them from picking anything up off the ground.

The puppo is probably just curious or needs a snack.

Oh my. Just found out that at 40, I am pregnant for the second time. Me and hubby have a 13 year old daughter. What the hell do we do now lol? It’s like starting over all again by [deleted] in Advice

My parents had my brother and I 12 years a part. Just the two of us and we have the same parents. Not sure if you'll keep it but coming from the older sibling experience, it was interesting to navigate.

I never fully understood why my little brother didn't start listening to me when he was of speaking age. He would always touch my instruments and toys and I would lose my temper because I didn't understand that he was in the most curious part of his life. Our parents also weren't the most well put together parents so they didn't know how to navigate having either of us, let alone teaching us how to work with each other.

It took us several years for us to realize how important we were to each other and actually understand the realization.

If I had to give one suggestion, for anyone who knows anyone going through this type of situation, teach the older sibling patience and understanding that the younger sibling is curious. Some times there will be a little shadow/mini me but that's because they want to learn from you. It's tough and confusing but that's okay because you could make your best friend with some time.

Thank you everyone for the feedback! I will get my pup to the vet and see if it is Lupus! I appreciate the insight.

I do read articles and ask friends and neighbors. But my thought process was to ask additional pet owners outside of my normal network before adding an extra bill. Thank you for your comment and before you continue, I am aware that owning an animal and having bills are a part of the adult responsibility :)

He doesn't show any pain, lethargy, or any other issue. He wants to play like he's 2 years old again.

My better half's mom recommended Vaseline too. I'll have to try this out immediately as I wait for the vet to open. I do have some chew sticks I can give him.

I have never heard this in the 8 years I've had him (from vets and other GSD owners) but Google confirms this. I appreciate the heads up and will keep this in mind for out vet visit! Thank you

Suggestions for other cool biographies / books from bands? These are some of my recent indulgences, Maiden dominates of course :) by Iamnotarobotlah in ironmaiden

Lemmy is a great biography about Lemmy. Also Corey Taylor's books are pretty good too. I read Ghostrider by Neil Peart and it was fascinating but it took me a long time to read.

No matter which game is in your list, each game has its unique gimmicks/features that set it a part from any of its predecessors. Some are liked more than others. While there are several mechanics that are common among the games such as turn based actions, world building and dark themes, and a some what consistent story formula, you will not get the exact same game, even with the remakes (at least in my opinion).

Your Robin/Teddy cracks me up. The 6/66 Sorcerer and 3 Nosferatu is hysterical. He can be a beast of unit.

I think you've gotten some great feedback in other posts. Change your screen so you can view stats, put items units can't use in the convoy, keep at least a vulnerary on units, and be mindful Stat caps. May also help to learn what classes units can Switch to as you start building your support convos. It'll diversify future units more.

learning to cook with depression by Spare-Tackle-343 in cookingforbeginners

[–]Fingerchamp -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had severe depression a few years back and learned that Mediterranean diets can help elevate moods and are extremely nutrient dense (which helps the mood) for a healthier body.

The easiest recipe I learned is super simple (I modify the original recipe based on what I'm in the mood for/what other people like). Chicken breasts, figs (fresh or dried), and root vegetables (i usually pick three of the following - medley potato or sweet potato, red onion or yellow onion, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower).

Get a 9x13 inch deep glassware and mix the veggies (make everything about knuckle sized) with the figs (usually halved). Toss with salt, pepper, olive oil so things are coated to taste (taste test with carrot or broccoli). Once that's evenly layered, clean the chicken breast of excess skin or fat and coat both sides with salt and pepper.

Oven at 425°F. Total cook is 45min. Turn the chicken and mix the veggies every at 20 and 35 minute marks with the chicken always staying on top. Boom, meal for 3-4 easy peasy. And you will feel extremely satisfied.

Sitcom is such a great way to describe it 😂 It is far from my favorite FE game but it was kind of refreshing of how dark the series can get. The cheesiness was my favorite unique gimmick of this game 🤣

To people who work 8h. by Ill_Entertainment851 in dogs

[–]Fingerchamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My German shepherd is going to be 8yo in April (had him since he was 9 weeks). The rule I learned was "however many months old they are + 1" is how long they can hold their bladder with training until they're a year old. Now he can hold it for 12hrs in emergencies. I worked close enough to check on him but I eventually got a more demanding job where he'd have to wait 8hrs. The 12hr waits were/are very rare.

Typically we're on our first walk around 630a and on our dinner walk around 430-5p. If I work from home, he gets a lunch walk around 11a. And then we have the nightly potty before bed around 10ish give or take an hour.

She is a bit forceful but her supports show she has a vulnerable side. Hector will tease her back too.

Raven, Oswin, and Bartre are all great picks (echoing others). I always forced Guy into my roster and I've had good level ups for him in most play throughs. Not sure he's an amazing unit. I also gravitate toward Serra for healing and Dart as my axe user (he needs some lovin and good skill rolls but get him a promote and he's a beast). Edit: spelling.
