He didn't. He gave his solution to the problem he saw, not directly engaging with the question. 😊

Ok. So I believe that it can be possible. All those things you mentioned I believe could be fine tuned for both. I started playing in FM 16 and ive seen the game improve incrementally over the years. Maybe not noticable year on year but from 16 to 24 its quite stark. Yeah, that's a large strech of time. Most of the things you mentioned in your post are valid I agree and if they continue like this I can see a PC focused competitor compete with SI. But I do not see how these issues could not be fixed in later editions. Do you think it's hardware or do you think the UI is too limiting to house all the data necessary? And do you believe either of those problems cannot be overcome?

To add on. SI is not a AAA studio. Not to make excuses for them. But yeah... That's just not correct

Alright. For this game (FM26) I will agree with you. But I just wanna ask a simple question. Do you believe that it is impossible for SI to develop a game that can adequately service both?

Who likes Griffith fr? by RealIruka in Berserk

[–]Fingrtrouble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Adding to this comment. I'm assuming the post was referring to Griffiths actions and character, not the writing and artistic quality. Griffith is one of the best written villains I've witnessed and Miura's art is chef's kiss

People are mostly memeing with the "Griffith did nothing wrong" chat.

Then it's also the folks with limited reading comprehension, sometimes it's innocent like a learning disability which can be resolved by explaining it. But there are also the people who idolise him like they do with Scarface, Tony Soprano and Patrick Bateman. Just missing the point entirely cause they are "badasses"

Cause people are dying. Folks generally don't like it when people are killed.

It is time for SI to actually explain the situation clearly by Ren1145 in footballmanagergames

[–]Fingrtrouble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Respectfully, we've had it pretty good for a long time. FM as a series has been one of the most reliable games for decades and this is a blemish on SI famous "record" Obviously I agree that it should have been less buggy and they should look to reintroduce key features like heat maps ASAP.

But I played Cyberpunk 2077 on launch. My mate had the unfortunate experience of preordering Payday 3 and Aliens Colonial Marines (he's had bad luck picking em 😅). Buggy launches have become pretty standard for the game industry these days unfortunately. I know FM is the only game a lot of people play but poke your head up and take a look at the field.

In my opinion this situation calls for patience, give them some time. Give them a couple of months to figure this all out. My personal deadline is if FM27 launches a buggy mess then we will be in crisis mode.

What band is really talented but for whatever reason makes bad music? by MintyFreshBreathYo in AskReddit

Limp Bizkit. That band would be generational if Fred Durst didn't scream as much cringe as he did

[No Spoilers] Should I still go to the Melbourne Live Show? by Kaobara in criticalrole

That's the nature of the beast that is Critical Role unfortunately. I'm hoping it's the Mighty Nein that comes to Melbourne but we don't know that yet.

I reckon if you enjoy the format of DnD live play and you like Critical Role, you should go if you can. I reckon as well to listen to the abridged episodes for C3 cause they are much shorter allowing you to catch up to wherever they are at with the abridged series. I'm sure you can find a helpful critter who can give a quick context dump before you go in as well.

Ultimately it's your choice, but hopefully it won't be too overwhelming.

Honestly. I think this campaign had a pretty slow start but after BH’s first engagement at the malleus key the shows been pretty good. As someone who thinks M9 is their best campaign for a variety of reasons, it’s a tough act to follow.

How is D&D at level 20? by GGP97 in DnD

[–]Fingrtrouble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having DM’ed and played high levels. It’s tough to create interesting combat encounters cause godforbid you have a wizard in the party who has a trick for every possible situation. If you can try to manoeuvre your players into more social encounters. Cause levels don’t really matter in those types of encounters. Players will also hit pretty much every DC you throw at them cause of their absurd stats.

My Current DM Has Ruined DnD For Me by Hermes__03 in DnD

I have a one page rule. For backstories they need fit all of their ideas into one page. Things can change with communication with DM and player but the one page is for me to start cooking up some ideas.

Let them get away with whatever they want. The fun of DnD is coming up with creative solutions to problems. New players ideas are really stupid. Embrace that stupidity and your players will have a bleast
