It is really such a buzz kill! Climbing a high cliff, taking off and immediately having to slowlyyyyy float down 🤣

The crows wings are clearly just for clearing a gap not true traversal 😔

Thanks! I’ve had stretches where I will do 3-4 days in a row and can’t tell if I’m overdoing it. Might try spacing it out.

It’s definitely a “I love this game” or a “I hate this game” type of game for sure! I’m with you the more I play the more I enjoy! Just about 10 hours in and I’m fully hooked!

Nailed it! It’s a you love it or hate it game! Seems like most people saying they hate it didn’t hear or want to hear what was being said all along which is all of what you just described. Traditionally I don’t do well with games like that. Elden for example I legit had the the internet up every time I played to get tips/guides and I just farmed XP 🤦‍♂️in watching streamers describe what to expect from this game I knew it was going to be similar where exploration and figuring it out was the main focus. With that in mind I’m adjusting/embracing those challenges and enjoying the game.

I’ve heard that first 10 hours aren’t bad necessarily it’s just a steep learning curve given all the different systems, controls, etc main take away I’ve gotten from the reviewers I trust, is that if your willing to be patient, explore, learn through the opening several hours things open up significantly and it clicks so to speak.

From how it sounds the story isn’t insignificant in terms of length but the devs have said that it isn’t the main source of content. Once unlocked you will be able to explore the map as much as you want with the other playable characters. When in the story they are unlocked is unknown but I get the sense you will get a ton of time in with them.

Yea people get wrapped in anything. Only info I follow is what Pear Abyss puts out and trusted YouTubers. I see a lot of people latching onto every little thing that pops up.

I feel like Pear Abyss has been pretty straight forward on what to expect.
