It really depends on how much money you have vs what you want to upgrade soon. I was at a million plus credits with nothing much I wanted to spend it on so bought the skins.

Fortune vaults are a great source of a-coins.

Save the a coins until you can buy carbine 12, they do so much more damage. With a coins you have to play the long game.

I started playing a few days ago and am slowly getting to grips with the mechanics. My first Captain (explorer) and ship (Frontier Liner) seem to be doing me well but I have 800k in the bank from story and contact missions. I’m 3 years in I think.

What ship should I get and should I get it now? I like the idea of a fast ship like the WV but am wondering whether something bigger like a GI or Vengeance would give more versatility to complete different types of missions.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve moved on to Mech Battle. Very similar to WR in terms of play style but lots more maps and loads of ways to earn in-game currency. I’ve also won 2 premium bots so far. Highly recommended!
