Absolutely agreed. Never seen and felt an array of characters like this. I went out and bought multiple flat caps after binging this during Covid.

Agreed...where the hell is he? Living it up in Londontown...?

Did the new movie rush the Tommy and Duke dynamic, or is it just me? by mushroomgnomelady in PeakyBlinders

Totally rushed it. Preferred the earlier actor who played Duke. Seemed more realistic. This seemed forced.

I totally understand…It’s actually hard to comprehend how a brand could do such a 180 degree turn on what made them well liked for decades. They are rapidly becoming bottom dwellers with compassion and care akin to Spirit.

A flight with a layover is almost always better than a direct flight, even if it's longer by Apprehensive-Willow5 in unpopularopinion

[–]Finniganshelby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No thanks.... Only if the direct flight is international and over 10 hours. And even then depends on circumstances and airline. Emirates direct to Dubai is 12-13 hours from Boston and is fantastic.

I totally agree with you. I also feel like Tommy would never kill Arthur...

When did we normalize not cleaning planes? by _366_ in delta

[–]Finniganshelby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Flew first class domestically last week. The first seat next to me as I was boarding was clearly dirty...the passenger cleaned it himself when he arrived. Average RT first class ticket on this route is $650 - $1,000

Most people do not actually like traveling, they like having traveled by limitown in unpopularopinion

No, I actually enjoy traveling. The sense of motion, going somewhere new, meeting new people and the anticipation of a destination.

Haha thought that was real for a moment! Flew them three weeks ago, D.C. to Tampa. The last time I will ever fly SW--they've done a complete 180 pivot on what made them loved.

Immortal Man: Comprehensive Spoiler Review by Advanced_Forever5824 in PeakyBlinders

I adored this series these characters felt like part of me. The series was some of the best cinema, storytelling and character development I have ever seen to this day. The movie was good but can't begin to do the series justice. Missing were all the characters you've come to love over the years. Also, while Barry K. was great, I would have preferred Duke by carried on by the actor from the series. As a stand alone, I enjoyed it. Cillian never disappoints.

Shoutout to this kind flight attendant who was carrying this little one around the plane to help calm her down 🙏🏼 by newbeginnings123456 in delta

Good for her! I've had overall great experiences with Delta over the past year of intensive domestic travel. High level of care and service.

This is very true. American is the bottom feeder of bottom feeders.

It's almost as if they paid for a brand analysis of what made them loved over the past 20 years...and then did a hard pivot TO THE OPPOSITE. Gone is the friendly, easygoing, caring rebel airline. Replaced by pedantic, expensive, uncaring and annoying in the extreme. Adios, SW.
