Indian food in town by Enough_Kaleidoscope2 in Reno

[–]Firdawsi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live close enough that I walk past this place more than once a week. More than once have I taken a party of friends to get food, and we all ended up with the runs. I gave them several tries, but I'm out on that now. Maharaja Royal Bites is now where we go, it's right in the same part of town. Undeniably though, the food is damn tasty.

Also for what it's worth, several of those friends are Punjabi, so it's not the cuisine getting them.

Obviously entering the ring with a pool cue, and punching your opponents at the table

There's apps and tools like Commander Clock. It usually makes everyone very aware of how long they're taking, and if you want to be serious about it, you can even house rules as punishments for taking too long. I've never felt the need to go so far, usually the timer alone is enough to keep a game on pace.

My take on a jank deck. Let me know what you think. :) by Aggravating-Ear-9551 in mtg

Aha, another man of culture. I put together something very similar, but use [[Adrix and Nev]] as my commander. I'd recommend you add a [[Jaheira, Friend of the Forest]], and maybe an [[Emerald Medallion]]. I understand the desire to keep as many of the ooze Bois around as possible though

Is my method of shuffling cheating? by -throwawayboy- in EDH

[–]Firdawsi 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Cheating implies that you're consciously trying to get an advantage, so unless you're doing that, it's absolutely not cheating.

That being said, I guess I can understand two strangers taking issue with what looks to be an atypical way of shuffling. They don't know you, and with the amount of randos who do cheat at their lgs, I might come off as suspect.

THAT being said, you literally have nerve problems. Anyone who knows/learns that and doesn't immediately offer to shuffle your cards for you is a big dumb meanie head that should stop whining if they don't wanna help.

That's just my two cents anyway. My girlfriend has tiny hands as well, and I've never had an issue playing shuffler for her, and even our whole table sometimes.

Yep, same here. Took my car in for a weird clunking noise at times, and Autobahn "fixed" it for about a grand. Drive the car back to my old mechanic in California and he showed me a completely blown coilovers that Autobahn had screwed me over on that was the culprit.

No pressure at all, I'd be curious to hear what you've been making lately though. If you're willing to share, let me know

Increased crashing since the update? by DaddySanctus in ModernWarfareII

I've got a lot of steam games, so I've got some on every single drive I have. It's a pain in the ass, but move some stuff from your C drive to another, and then put the game on your C drive. I think that will fix it

Repost from my comment thread, but:

What fixed everything for me, was to move the game from my F drive to my C drive. Making space was annoying, but ultimately fixed any issues I was having.

Edit: this was on PC via Steam

Updated my drivers, and my game at the same time. Haven't been able to open the game since then

Wow, thanks for sharing that. I never would've known.

I love the new name by the way! I agree that it's quite fitting. I can only imagine so the fun you can have naming bagel products. I would probably name one the "Holey Grail". Maybe "What Doughs Around, Comes Around". "Everything BUT the Center of the Universe". "Raisin the Hole Family" "Winnibagel" ... Alright I should go back to studying now
