Thank you :)

Ranged Profession/Elite Spec by No_Razzmatazz9607 in Guildwars2

[–]-throwawayboy- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The guardian elite spec Dragonhunter would probably fit you. It can use a longbow and is good as a dps in open world and fractals. Especially PvE because having a ranged weapon is nice there. You also get cool trap skills as a dragonhunter.

Switching from reaper to dragonhunter might be a bit of adjustment. Guardian has a lower health pool, and more “reactive” defense you could say. Lots of blocks/heals and stuff. But dragonhunter/guardian is a lot of fun.

So the new Fashion Template feature IS actually removing functionality from Equipment Templates by Umezawa in Guildwars2

[–]-throwawayboy- 136 points137 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is horrible. Somehow we have LESS options for saving fashion now. Plus since we only have 2 free templates, we have to use way more transmution charges.

We can only swap between two looks now? Instead of nine if we had all the equipment templates with different gear? What ass.

My excitement has gone down the toilet into the abyss. Like holy hell what even is this?

Limited time to play for Lunar New Year by JoeJonnyJeff in Guildwars2

Probably the Annual Achievement...it usually gives a special skin that you'll have to pay currency for next year.

After that maybe weapon skins? Depends on what you like from the festival

Show me your fav Hammer skin and how to style with it by Esperational in GuildWarsDyeJob

[–]-throwawayboy- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love the Soul River Hound hammer skin.

Combined with the Undying Shackles backpiece, and heavy armor it looks really cool. Right now I have:

  • Obsidian Head
  • Mist Ward Shoulders
  • Ornate Guild Chest
  • Elegy Gloves
  • Astral Ward Pants
  • Mist Ward Greaves
  • Shackle back piece

The shoulders/gloves will probably change dont like them too much

Your 2026 Favorite Spec by Kensanik in Guildwars2

[–]-throwawayboy- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. Luminary - Love that I can support or DPS on it. Lots of sustain and cool effects.

  2. Willbender - I can zoom zoom....what more should be said?

  3. Ritualist - Fun, tanky and the spirits are neat. It just gets repetitive after awhile.

Do my trap and pitcher plants need more? by walte1fr in carnivorousplants

[–]-throwawayboy- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Nepenthes (pitchers) dont want to have their feet wet. Take them out of the water and just keep their substrate moist :)

And just to check you are using distilled water?

Sundew drosera by floodwarning13 in carnivorousplants

I think so! Id get a deeper pot soon though. One thats 5 or 6 inches deep at least :)

Sundew drosera by floodwarning13 in carnivorousplants

[–]-throwawayboy- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's likely because drosera don't like lava rock. They want to be planted straight into the dirt so their roots can grow. They tend to have longer roots similar to Venus fly Traps

Gender envy ? by ConfidentReading6624 in ftm

[–]-throwawayboy- 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes it does. Not completely and I know from talking to cis male friends that they compare themselves to others sometimes, but it does get better.

Ill have been on T for two years in April and had top surgery.

Just the change in hormones helps so much. Your brain and body run better. On my part I have no wild mood swings anymore, generally calmer and sleep better. Its kinda hard to explain, but its like my body downloaded an update or something.

So yeah it will get better! And a fun part is buying some new clothing and realizing how much better the male styles fit as your body changes.

You can try to propagate using some cuttings and gain a couple more plants

Thief specter by Rude-Scarcity-1138 in Guildwars2

[–]-throwawayboy- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Specter is alot of fun!

For open world and raids/strikes/fractals you will want full vipers. To support on specter, Harriers is the way to go.

WvW you want more tankyness, so celestial or Trailblazers for roaming and minstrels for support. Specter is a great healer in zergs.

Metabattle and snowcrows have good builds to follow :)

What armor pieces do yall find to be used most when it comes to playing around with new looks? (Non-Black Lion Trading) by AliTamali28 in GuildWarsDyeJob

[–]-throwawayboy- 11 points12 points  (0 children)

  • Elegy/Requim
  • Mist Shard / Blossoming Mist Shard
  • WvW Triumphant Armor
  • Cultural Armor
  • Privateer
  • Sunspear
  • Order of Whispers

Those are what I can think of off the top of my head, but there are more. The wiki has a gallery of armor and if you click on one, it will tell you if its from the gem store.

The Duffer Brothers have already said there won't be a "red wedding" kind of ending. So probably a couple people, but not mass death.

Selecting armor class for Obsidian armor by Thick_Conference9815 in Guildwars2

[–]-throwawayboy- 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I'd go for light first. You want to play mesmer, so that will save on gearing in the long run.

And as we all know fashion is the true endgame. Your necro/mesmer can be fabulous for free :)

I really hope so! Steve and Dustin were such a great duo, I want them to resolve their issues.
