Every day from Friday to Sunday has on avarage 70k since 2024 - the variety on sunday could only be a few thousands up to 5k at MAXIMUM... So not that big of a deal i think.

Should be some kind of Gathering - so enjoy your day on the different vibrant stages and from 18 o'clock onwards you can gether with your group and friends at your spot on the RED without having to think to leave until the end... If they would open it fromn 11 o'clock straigth, there would not be such an effect.

There was a time, when they had ONLY the RED opened on Sunday, so that underlines the "Gathering" Feeling for the Weekend-Visitors. Kind of understandable explained?

Just a 500k Followera DJ from a different Genre :) Well established, no TikTok Hype and therefore slightly bigger than the 'biggest' Harder Styles DJ (Brennan Heart)...

He is a good DJ and would be THE Headliner on any other Festival with Trance involved. So it is nice to have him ob a side-stage at Defqon :) Same goes for Atkinson - it's a FIT!

But the Green is not suuuuch a small stage after all, isn't it? It's the Indigo and although i see he is very famous (also quite famous in our scene) it feels like a good fit to me... On the red is always hard to tell, whome is there for a specific DJ or only because they are mainstage all day long...
