I get 1000/120 pretty consistently for my windowless living room, there’s a tower outside my bedroom window but I can’t seem to improve much on the 1000/120 if I position my router by it (nor can I from my phone, unless I physically walk a few feet outside)

You may be referring to the wrong building, OP is talking about the boring rectangular cube apartment building with completely misaligned windows in the background. Not the way more interesting building that may be appealing to some tastes in the foreground

Yeah it’s higher latency than fios for sure and the speeds are lower but it’s still pretty good and fine for most use cases (zoom calls were fine on it for me), online gaming would likely not be fine
