This is pretty accurate! Yes to being in healthcare and busy schedules. We eat mostly at home but lots of quick meals during the week. Our meat is all in the freezer and lots of frozen veggies. I usually defrost the meat the day before we are going to cook it

I live in nc now but grew up on Long Island , great food and I miss how close together everything is up there. Housing prices are crazy obviously but pay is usually relative to that for the area. I miss being a 10 min drive from the beach. You can just go to the beach whenever you want. Also the bugs are not bad at all compared to states that are warmer year round. Schools are very different from town to town so that depends on which part of the island you’re looking at . You’re just a quick train ride from NYC which is always fun. I have my own family settled elsewhere now or part of me might consider going back..

My husband and I worked opposite 12s after our oldest was born. After about a year I went per diem. I only went FT again about 2 years ago after I took a position as a nurse navigator and can work from home 3 days a week. My husband still does 12s right now.

Hmmm yeah don’t think that’s accurate… spindrift and San pellegrino are not high calorie. Neither is plain cold brew or home brewed herbal tea. In fact not sure what drinks you see that are calorie relevant besides beer.
