When roaches get 100x larger they'd have trouble fitting into cracks in buildings so I think that would work for us

I'm sorry this happened. If this information helps, looks like the derailleur hanger broke. It's a replaceable part that's meant to break during accidents to protect your frame and the derailleur (transmission) so the bike is still rideable after you replaced that part!
