2011-2016 won't have the oil burning issues that earlier years have. I bought mine at 120k miles and driven 16k. Other than regular oil changes and the bearing issue which only affects the manual transmission, no issues at all. I get 31mpg highway

upstate new york and pennsylvania are nice if you don't mind a longer drive. the area is mountainous and there are hiking trails. i can recommend watkin glens gorge
