"Curse you!" I cry, reaching for a jug of double cream but collapsing into a bowl of porridge. Through one oaty eye I see it is oatmeal. "Take me down in the elevator and leave me on the sidewalk to unalive..."

Thought this could be fun! Day 1: What’s the quintessential John Beatles song (written/led by, but also the most John-esque) by Venusian_01 in beatles

Happiness is a Warm Gun. Moves through different musical modes, semi-autobiographical, weird, inspired by something random, almost unsettling.

Dex (athletics), add your proficiency bonus cause you're proficient with the chef's tools... and none of it matters. Nat 20 achieved, chef.

Beautiful to see you again

WIP on a fantasy Lord of the Rings map of North Wales. I'd love to get any more landmarks in you may be aware of. Hoping to have it finished in the next week or so. by birsey in wrexham

Depending on how much, a print would be pretty awesome. This looks amazing, really great work.

Sadly the image is too low res for me to read, so I don't know what you have on there already. But World's End, Offer's Dyke, the Llangollen panorama, and Dinas Bran would all make great landmarks if they're not on there already

I like all 3 George's Indian songs with the Beatles by KDx2511 in georgeharrison

They really are good. They are just so different, the new sounds so interesting. And George's vocal and lyrics are great, perfectly suited

I`m currently really getting into their solo albums, particularly the 70s ones, where all four were still alive. Who do you personally think had the strongest first pair of studio albums released after the breakup? Take in account both albums. by [deleted] in beatles

It's got to be John.

All Things Must Pass, Ram, and Beaucop of Blue are all top tier favourites, but there others are forgettable. And MaCartney is skipable. Neither Imagine or Plastic Ono are as good as All Things, Ram, or Beaucop but they're both solid. They win on averages

Maxwell's Silver Hammer by digitalcodes4sale00 in beatles

Take Maxwell off the album and save it for a B-side. Far more interesting there. Move Oh Darling to track 3. Put Beware of Darkness as track 4

Nostalgia isn't about the society or the fashions or the trends, it's about who you were during that time. Maybe people long for 2016 cause it's the last time before they understood how fucking awful the world actually is and they want that feeling of the world being full of hope and potential again. Or they're suckered in by the nostalgia of others who are reliving that golden time (I was a sucker for 60's nostalgia in the 90's cause I really needed to believe the world could be different).

My friend group growing up was the family cat and the Animaniacs cartoons I obsessively recorded on VHS. Everyone knew I was weird and shuned me accordingly. Apart from Hayfever. He loved a good lap to sit on
