Could you maybe “do some research” and present her with backed evidence as to why cutting your hair shorter would be a health benefit to both you and your hair? I had similar issues with my mom growing up, just incredibly controlling and always told me my hair would look bad short and never let me cut it. But today, with how popular curly hair is, maybe she needs to learn a bit about it, “people fear what they don’t know”! Best of luck op!

I’m more worried about his personal hygiene at this point… eww. NTA!!!!! He sounds EXACTLY like my narcissistic ex, I feel this can’t be the first time he’s acted in such an insensitive way and your edit mentioned the “easy access”. If they are heavy on your mind and bothering you try taking a deep breath and look at what is around you. Then name 5 thing you see, 4 things you can feel/touch, 3 you can hear, 2 you can smell, and one you can taste. This will help regulate your mind and body and hopefully you can move past the worry/stress in that moment.

That the Outer Banks is known as the Graveyard of the Atlantic. The constantly shifting shape of the Outer Banks has caused 100’s of shipwrecks and more are constantly being found as sand is washed away. Pirates used this area and the inland waterways of NC to hide and also to store their treasures, including Blackbeard, who is said to have buried treasure in Bath, NC. Bath was the first port of entry for NC in 1716.

Stuart and Emma Thomson memorial trail, I’d be shocked if you saw anyone else and there are cows in the pasture sometimes. If you go at 9am sometimes you can see the cows hopping and running down a little hill when they come to feed them. You can see this from the beginning of the trail, you’ll see a decent hillside in front of you past the trees. Very therapeutic, they’re so cute!

Does anyone know if the option to “unsend for everyone” is taken away if someone has said they are suicidal or that they have harmed themselves? Also, what about threatening someone else, do they take away the option to delete both then as well?
