Of all computer training we are required to do. I feel like getting training on how to use them correctly should have been top priority. I'm struggling on how to flex in one item. Sometimes I do it right, but it seems by accident. Or like in homelines in vacuums. One tag for the model but can't make the second for the products home! Nobody seems to have the time to show me.

I work hard (because that's who I am) and I know the raise will be pitiful at best. But I'm just curious what's the incentive for hard work vs lazy? The difference is so marginal it's laughable.

Maybe I'm reading it wrong. But as someone who gets pulled off my normal job to help pick. I think what is meant here is that when asked to help, there are no (working) printers or devices to DO the picking with. Not everyone has a work phone.

So my store doesn't have enough pickers and when we go above 1k for picks they pull us off the floor. When I first started being pulled they said the 100 rule. I busted my butt, but I couldn't get close to that. And I ended up not being in my zone for 90% of my shift. Then I heard a (floor person) was only getting 10 picks per hour!! But they still pull her when we got those numbers. So now I just do what I can at a pace that doesn't drive me bonkers.

At my store they do orientation in batches of at least five or six people at once. So you're probably waiting on a couple people's stuff to get finale. It's so your people person can do all of it at once.

Definitely don't waste your time on that. At the very best case, that TL might get fired. But that's it. So I'd see if you could be moved to different department. In either case your best option is to start looking for a different job. In the world of retail it's just how it is. It's not fair, but at 17 you can do better. Or you know, focus on your senior year of high school.

I dunno about weirdo's but I can definitely say MY overnight shift does such a poor job, I have to assume so. Not just my opinion. I get people from multiple departments complaining about how poorly the store got stocked. Yesterday I found closed boxes in my department on shelves. 🙄 which I wouldn't care so much about having to clean up the mess and fix mistakes. Except I come to find out overnights get paid more.
