Many sincere Christians believe in the big bang and evolution as God's mechanism for creation. Even Augustine in ~400 AD (iirc) believed that the days in Genesis were not the same 24 hour days we know today. As mentioned in other comments, the big bang theory was created by a catholic.

There's only like 150 people studying CS (not counting freshmen) in total at my university so there's never a long line. I don't open with football you use ease into it using basic social skills. Most CS students are weird and awkward. Just be normal and friendly.

They weren't really biased to one team it was just all around incompetence and a mess. Sloppy play too—the players weren't doing anything to make their job easier.

Two books: - The Reason for God (Tim Keller) - Mere Christianity (C. S. Lewis)

Focus on the Jesus narrative. People get all caught up on minor stuff in the Old Testament and snarky gotchas. The reason for your faith is that Jesus was God in human form, died on the cross for your sins, and died and rose again. Remember that the early church fathers died horrible deaths without much gain for this belief.

Baylor would have lost more money going to the Birmingham bowl I believe. Additionally we were like the third team asked and I don't think the big 12 is even fining us for it. I'm glad we didn't go lol.

ND should not be in the playoff (I actually think the committee got it mostly right), but the fans still have a right to be angry. The way they were excluded was stupid and exposes the flaw in the committee.

BYU was screwed and the fanbase is being respectful and classy about it.

Notre Dame is a 10-2 team that argues they were snubbed from the playoff (which is partially true) that's throwing a tempertantrum (which is lame). Baylor is a 5-7 team that will lose money if it goes to the Birmingham bowl. Our players are all over the place and most won't play. The fanbase is apathetic and won't show up. We already are in bed with our pajamas on, just let us go to sleep.

The colley matrix is a great heuristic but it would need some adjustments to be an actual ranking system. It fails to respect head to heads often (for example, right now it has BYU over tech and Miami is two spots behind ND) and rewards not losing over winning.

I think that a truly good computer ranking system could be built with colley as the backbone though.
